On the good side the property is in the center of the city. Not the best area of Bella Vista, but close to everything. There's a Plaza Lama around the corner where you can get evrything you need from groceries to clothing. Very convenient.
The lady in charge of the property in Sto Dgo was very nice and acomodating. And there was at least 1 security guy if not 2, 24hrs a day.
Property had everything needed (towels,bed sheets, cups, etc) as described and it was very spacious.
On the bad side It's on a 3rd fl and the building has no elevator so we strugled a little to get the luggage up there. The master suite's bathroom left a lot to desire, poor ilumination and kind of dated, and the A/Cs in the bedrooms need to be replaced or fixed as the cold air coming out of them is very minimal they felt like fans. The sofa smells a little like urine. It should be changed.
So overall for the location I recommend it. But don't go expecting luxury as you won't be impressed. And if you are driving make sure you use the garage space. It's not safe to leave the car outside.

I was a little hesitant at first flying so far from california and taking a risk on staying in an apartment instead of a luxury hotel but the pictures caught my eye and the friendliness and the ease of booking helped my decision and I booked this apartment. I was very impressed with the size and everything was included as mentioned. The apartment was very clean and the neighborhood is very safe and quiet with security guards monitoring the area. I was in the middle of santo domingo and although things are close by I chose to rent a car. I'm definately staying here again on my next trip. -Andrew
