Into the Forest and Down to the Beach. . . Located on the ocean side of Highway One, this Tudor style home sits above a Monterey pine forest sweeping a half mile down to the ocean, the only vacation home in the area which borders a forest preserve. The quaint seaside village of Cambria is a leisurely five minute drive from the property. You are within seconds of scenic walking trails through pine-forested “Strawberry Canyon,' which lies directly behind the property. The beach is an easy 15-minute walk through the woods and along quiet residential streets. You can pick through the tide pools at nearby Lampton Cliffs park, or walk along the new boardwalk bluff trail at the stunningly beautiful public Fiscalini Ranch, formerly known at the East-West Ranch. Visit a local winery or the famed Hearst Castle, only six miles north on Highway One. Cambria is also the gateway to the spectacular Big Sur coast.

It was our first stay at this lovely place and we hoped not the last one.
It was actually our first stay at a private residence and we especially appreciate the attention to detail by owner-managers like Seaview's as opposed to the agency type home rentals or hotel stay.

SEAVIEW ON BURTON LOCATED IN CAMBRIA, CA.

Arrived Tuesday afternoon to a very spacious house with a tree filled area. The views of the ocean and treetops were to behold. Very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the easy in and out location for our exploring the surrounding countryside,including some of our favorite wineries.

The owner was very helpful to assist us with our questions.

Truly enjoyed our stay. We would be interested in returning next year.

A Fine and Private Place

Just returned from several idyllic days at Seaview on
Burton. The house is every bit as impressive as the pictures indicate--the living room is like a cathedral, and all the rooms are beautifully designed and appointed. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the owner is very courteous and eager to please. This was our first visit to the central coast, and we plan to return. We would highly recommend Seaview on Burton to anyone who likes a quiet retreat surrounded by pines and the sound of the surf below.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Beautiful home in quiet setting - we enjoyed the views of pines and ocean. We loved the hardwood floors and care that went into this house... The views from the Master Bedroom were magnificent in the full moon light. We were very happy with this home!

We had a spectacular stay!!! The house is beautiful and accomodating, with decks on both levels to let you see wonderful sunsets. Jim the owner is very courteous and will help you with whatever you need. Go!!! You'll love it.
