Why Acorn Ridge Cabin? There are many beautiful cabins in North Georgia but only Acorn Ridge Cabin will help make your getaway exactly like you envisioned it!! Acorn Ridge Cabin gives the special touches to make sure your getaway will be exactly like you envisioned it, including personal recommendations for area activities and restaurants, based on your group size (couples, kids, etc) and requirements. You won't get this level of service from other owners. Acorn Ridge has two bedrooms (queen-size beds in each) plus a giant loft with king-size bed (our favorite room), two baths, a bonus room with pool table, hot tub and a covered wrap around two level porch. Cabin sleeps six comfortably in beds. We also have a sleeper sofa in the rec. room for kids! Our cabin is situated on a 2+ acre wooded lot, with the privacy you want but the convenience of being just outside of Blue Ridge. The cabin is less than 4 yrs old and we recently had the exterior re-stained so it looks great!

Acorn Ridge Cabin is perfectly situated right outside of historic Blue Ridge, Georgia. Known for its quaint downtown area and Scenic Railroad, Blue Ridge is the ideal combination of mountain living and recreation. Fannin County has the 2nd highest amount of National Park acreage in the state, with endless hiking opportunities, particularly if you like waterfalls. White water rafting at the Olympic venue Ocoee River is nearly and Lake Blue is 5 minutes from the cabin, where you can to rent boats or jet skis.

Notes: Your young children are extremely welcome (we have little ones ourselves). We have games, puzzles and movies for them. The older kids (ie: teens) will be pleased with the internet access and the fact that we get good cell phone reception at the cabin. Older kids also like the pool table and hot tub (supervised, of course). Watching the stars is always a fun activity and you can do it well from our deck. Our guests tells us that no other cabin they've stayed in previously has the level of service that we do. Of course we provide fine linens and towels but also the smaller things, like coffee, hot chocolate and popcorn. The movie and CD selection has received rave reviews, likely because of the wide variety in each area.

Quiet Retreat (even in the Rain)

Ken and Amy,

Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your fabulous cabin! We were stunned with the homey touches you have added to make the cabin feel like a true retreat! My fiancee and I agreed that although we have been around the world, the weekend in your cabin was among our best vacations ever! We are looking forward to coming back soon and hopefully it will rain again... it was nice to have an excuse not to go anywhere and the rain on the roof was so soothing we even slept in!

Beautiful Cabin!

I am a bullet point person, so...
* Beautiful cabin! Well cared for and well stocked!
* Loved that it wasn't "overly" decorated! Felt very open!
* The beds were soooo comfortable, as were the linens.
* Kitchen was well stocked, but if you roast a turkey or large chicken, bring a roasting pan and a thermometer.
* The spa and pool table were lots of fun!
* Bedroom set ups are perfect for families. The loft was large and private, although best left for parents since it is open to noise and light.
* The only "downside" (if you can call it that) is that the cabin itself isn't really situated to hike from the cabin and explore neighborhoods. However, it is very drivable to everthing!

Superb experience!

This was my first time using Cyberrentals, and renting another person's property. Was extremely surprised and delighted with the cabin. The pictures accurately displayed the cabin, everything was spotless, pots and pans were easy to find and use. We swam a lot at Morganton Point which was about 5 minutes away. The Swan Drive In was a treat as was walking around the little shops. We did a lot of driving through the mountains to Helen, Georgia and was blown away by the gorgous views! We went to the Ocoee River for whitewater rafting and had an awesome time! Overall, fantastic experience, thanks to Ken and Amy!

Just what we needed!!

Wow, I do believe God led us right to this cabin because He knew what we needed! Great place to relax and unwind. The cabin is very clean and beautiful and had everything we needed! We enjoyed it so much. Ken is very nice to do business with as it went quite smooth. He is helpful at preparing you for your arrival and introducing you to Blue Ridge. The area is wonderful and every person we came in contact with was so nice!!
The whole stay was wonderful and easy. We loved L & L cafe and make sure you have dinner at Cuciana Rustico, it is delicious!!
Thanks so much Ken for allowing others to be blessed by your home!!
