Description of the Cotuit vacation cottage rental
This 10 year old cottage is located in the quiet village of Cotuit on the warm water side of Cape Cod. The village has a 100 year old convenience store, a beautiful library, a small breakfast and lunch restaurant, and an evening watering hole. There are no main thoroughfares running through town, so it is rather quiet.
The cottage is only a short walk to the Cotuit Kettliers Cape Cod baseball field, a short bike ride (1 to 2 miles) to 3 beaches. A beach pass for parking at all Barnstable beaches is included in the rental ($75 if you have to buy one).
If you wish to venture out, there are over 50 restaurants and 15 golf courses within a 10 mile radius. On rainy days, the Mashpee Commons, Main Street Hyannis and the Cape Cod Mall are only a short drive. The spring and fall ocean fishing are outstanding and there are plenty of trout stocked ponds and lakes in the area.

Cotuit is located on what we call Upper Cape Cod. We are located 10 miles from Falmouth to the East, 10 miles from Hyannis to the West and 10 miles to Sandwich and Barnstable village to the North. The ocean water hits close to 80° in mid summer. We have a very sheltered harbor with a great town dock for kids fishing. We also have a boat launch if you bring one.
