Remodeled in 2006, this beautiful home sleeps 9 and comes with access to 90 feet of private, sandy beach on popular Long Lake. This all sports lake is 600 feet from the house, just a gradual slope down to the clean, sandy bottom lake where the dock with deck at the end await your boat or jet ski or have fun with our paddleboat, canoe or row boat w/ oars. Enjoy the large yard with plenty of green grass for games or relaxing in the shade. Great fishing lake for walleye, perch, bass and pike. There are several islands on the lake open to the public for exploring.

If you want to get away from it all you will like this place. Quiet setting at the waters edge. Nice beach area overlooking a large clean lake. You can see the bottom and you have to go a distance out to actually be under the water. Weather can be iffy as it is anywhere but we had several nice days where we rented a boat (it was delivered) and the grandkids went tubing. I wanted to enjoy the outdoors and relax on the beach and that is what I got. Lots of toys and outdoor games for kids and adults alike. Large grassy area, and a fire pit with logs included which made for a memorable evening of roasting marshmellows. Go to Meijers for your food, good prices. Didn't eat out much but the Red Mesa Grill in Traverse was great and you can easily split dinners unless you are a hearty eater. And make at least one stop at the local ice cream place, Moomers I think? Guys went golfing, plenty of places and levels to choose from and prices good. House was clean and large. Living room furniture was not very comfortable (move the lounger up from the downstairs and you will have at least one good chair). Nice to have a washer and dryer and the laundry soap. Lots of towels but bring your own for the beach. We were somewhat disappointed that the house set back on the lot and you could not see the lake from that distance, but it was a short walk down to the beach area. After awhile you don't even think about it. Took a short drive to the dunes...I say a must see. Overall it was what I expected and an enjoyable vacation.
