Perfect Cottage. Perfect Location.

This cottage and location were absolutely wonderful. The mornings on the back deck overlooking the lake, the evenings with the fire pit, the wooden swing in the back yard, the short walk to the beautiful beach. The location and setting could not be better.

The cottage itself is rustic and charming, just as a Cape Cod cottage should be. The outdoor shower was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked for everything we wanted and Jac was attentive to any need we had.

If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing environment at a point that's convenient to the rest of the Cape, I can't recommend this cottage enough. We'll definitely be back.

Great week on the Cape!

My wife found this listing and we couldnt be happier that we reserved it. The cottage is cozy but it wasnt tight even with a 2 and 5 year old. The house was recently rennovated and the backyard has an amazing view. What really was fantastic about this property was the 4 minute walk to Seagull Beach. We went almost every day. I have already inquired about renting the same week next year. The owner was very easy to work with and even the local neighbors were helpfull in finding some local haunts.

all in all a fantastic stay.

Be wary of what they advertise. No where do the mention it is a duplex!!
Very nice looking but deceitful.
My sons a I had gone for a few days of rest and relaxation. I am fighting cancer. The walls were paper thin and there were about 5 college kids on the side of us and by 10pm to about 1:30 you could tell the mattress mombo was going on. Even a neighbor a few houses down said there had been quite a few of complaints about this!
Owner's Response: The only issues from the neighbors and tenants next door was this unreasonable woman.

Good Vantage Point to Explore the Cape

We are new to Cape Vacations and picked this part of the cape to explore. The cottage is very cute and cozy, with the best part being the decks, and view of the Lewis Pond. It's about a 10 minute walk to Seagull beach, which, in our opinion, had a bit too much seaweed. This did not deter from our vacation. We still went to that beach to swim, explore and look for seashells several time during our weeklong stay. West Yarmouth is a good spot for exploring other parts of the cape. We did day trips to Marconi beach, Chatam, and Chapin Beach. The kids loved the bunk beds, fire pit and tree swing. The adults loved the deck, view and wonderful moon rises over the pond. Bottom line: a good value for a Cape Vacation

We had a lovely stay at this cottage with our 10 month old daughter. Beautiful deck overlooking the salt pond. Gorgeous sunrises. 5-10 minute walk to a spectacular beach. West Yarmouth is located pretty centrally in Cape Cod so we were able to do lots of little side trips and explore the area. There are a few restaurants just up the road (we had some good Thai take-out) and there is a grocery store nearby.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
