This house is located in the gated community of Saw Creek Estates, and is nestled in a completely wood setting with breathtaking views. This house is completely furnished and decorated to help provide that 'at home' feeling for you and your guests. This comfy getaway has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, central air-conditioning, a full kitchen, dining room, and wrap-around deck with a screened-in porch. Just added this spring is a beautiful extension to the wrap-around deck with a 6-person Jacuzzi and a roof over the Jacuzzi for if it rains!! The house is only about 10 minutes away from Shawnee Beach & Bushkill Falls, and 20 minutes from Camel Beach, & the Outlets. Also in the area are rafting/boating/canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, golfing, shopping, the flea market, the zoo, caves, and much, much more.

  • The upstairs of the house holds the master bedroom and the loft. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, private bathroom, and a walk-in closet (so bring what you want, there is plenty of room). The loft has a queen-sized futon bed to relax on while watching the 25-inch TV. Also in the loft is a foosball table and plenty of books to read. Fresh air, no problem, there is an eight-foot deck with sliding glass doors. The main floor of the house has a mini-master bedroom with a full-sized bed, a 19-inch TV, & a closet (this is where you will find the vacuum, iron, and other household items). The third and final bedroom has two twin beds and another closet (in this closet you will find several different board games that will provide hours of fun for everyone).

Notes: This house is located in the gated community of Saw Creek Estates, and for a small fee your rental can include use of all of the amenities the community has to offer. These include two lakes, six pools (one of them is only six houses away - This pool is open in the summertime from Friday's-Monday's), its own ski slope with lift (open on weekends only), tennis, volleyball, softball, racquetball, and basketball courts, a playground, a fitness center, and their very own restaurant right on site at the 'Top of the World'.

relaxing getaway

We spent the 3rd week of sept08 at this house and had the most wonderful time. The deer are right outside the back door and the screened in porch, the jacuzzi was so relaxing and the foosball and ping pong kept the competitions going with our guests. The house is spotless clean and well equipped with everything. The furniture is very comfortable and tastefully done. The owners were a pleasure to work with and we can't wait to go again!!!! It was one of the most enjoyable weeks we have ever spent. Our dogs were also allowed to come and we hiked up and down the hilly streets with them and enjoyed the scenery. Thank you Stacey and Dan - we'll be calling again!!!!

PS Eat at the A1 Steakhouse - food is outstanding and service is the tops!!!!

A very comfortable house, clean and cozy. I would rent this house again, winter and summer. The kitchen had all the equipment you would need. Next time I would bring a larger frying/saute pan (my family eats a lot). The community has all the amenities, the pools were great.
We spent a good deal of the time in the hot tub, rain or shine. Can't wait to go again.

Good for the cost

We enjoyed this rental and all the amenities of the community very much in our stay, we had only a few hic-ups along the way. I wished there was a little more guidance and direction before our stay as to the way the community worked, the things that would be needed at the house, and possibly recommendations of attractions in the area. The check in time is 5pm on sat, but the ammenities office closes at 5 on sat, and is not open on sunday which is not explained to you before rental causing you to be unable to use the amenities until monday. I would recommend arriving early to go to the ammenities office before reaching the rental to get the opportunity to use the amenities as soon as you get there. I would also bring toilet paper with you, we ran out after the first evening. Overall this was a plesant experience, and we had a great time. I also called the owners about an issue the first day at the rental and never received a call back.
