Beach Lovers beach house

Ocean and Beach front and family friendly area with a private inclosed beach on the property for private beach parties and games. This is a duplex type of property. The second floor is pictured in the first set of photos. The first floor is in the second set of photos. The first floor is close to the beach and is particularly nice for seniors and all to enjoy the cushioned wicker rockers and the sounds of the waves and the sights on the beach. There is a small dune but the beach can easily be seen from the first floor porch. For younger children the first floor porch provides an added sense of security. Little ones can play in the sand and build castles that will last the week. They can access water from the outside spicket/shower. Parents can rock away with a good book or kendile. A guarded beach is just yards away. There is also a minimal number of stairs. This also provides more security for surf boards and other beach equipment. The second floor is bright and sunny. The view from the deck can show panoramic miles of beach and beautiful sunrises. The gathering room has a sectional that faces the ocean. Outdoor grills are prrovided on the west porch near the kitchen on both floors. The kitchen has easy seating for six. There is an additional small table with 4 chairs that can be used in the main area of the kitchen. There is a full bathroom with a full size tub. There is also a small half bath. A full size washer and dryer is provided for convenience on both floors. The upstairs deck is not covered. There is a picnic table that seats 8 easily. In the center is an umbrella to provide shade and protect the food from any straying seagulls. The decks are placed fairly close to the beach so that you get the feeling that you are on the beach. Badges are provided for our guests. There is an information packet in both the beach floor and the second floor units. There is a west side outside shower that is inclosed. There are at least 2 large off street parking spots provided for each unit. There is additional space depending on the size of the vehicles. It is possible to fit 3 normal size vehicles. There is secure WiFi and smart phone chargers. Speakers for Ipods etc. Flat screens are in 2 bedrooms with DVD and a large one in the gathering rooms. Ceiling fans add to the comfort. The property manager is on call in case there is a need. We also have a list of local people who can handle most issues that would arrise. There is a lovely park one street away, bike, surry, surf boards and beach equipment rental one block away. This includes an ice cream shop. The Black Dog Cafe is around the corner, serving breakfast and sandwhiches during the day. It is a short distance to the bay to watch the sunsets. For the fishermen, there is a bait shop on the corner. For the children, Surflight Theatre has weekly live children's theatre as well as plays and concerts all summer. The summer schedule is posted on their web site. The town sponsors Concerts in the Park for free. Beach Haven is on the southern end of LBI. It has a village atmosphere. Merivale is one of the last beaches in Beach Haven. A guarded protected swiming beach is half a block to the north and one block to the south. Merivale is a street where many of the same families return year after year. Beaches are cleaned daily in the morning. Dolphins can be seen regularly. We personally inspect and attend to our property every Saturday during the rental season to insure cleanliness and a smooth changeover. We handle our own rentals and rent to families as opposed to groups of young people, as do the other owners on our street. The neighborhood is quiet, residential and respectful of other families. Our return guests are a testiment to their satisfaction. A lot of our bookings are repeat tenants, year after year. There is an outdoor building that holds beach toys and chairs for our guests. Beach tags are also provided. Outdoor showers are provided as well as grills. Each unit has its own on the beach deck and kitchen side porch. The upstairs is an open air with umbrella and picnic table and the downstairs is covered with plush wicker rocking chairs and a table with chairs. We are located approximately 1.5 miles from the village part of Beach Haven and 1.5 miles from the south end of the island, which is a Federal wildlife and bird sanctuary. Tours from rangers are available. The property is within easy distance of many restaurants and activities. Each year we do a few upgrades that surprise our returning tennets. Over the winter a new roof was installed. It is supposed to greatly affect heat build up. The west bedrooms both up and down have vintage Murphy beds that add space and comfort. The kitchens are constantly being added to. Both up and down have Keurig coffee makers. K cups are available at Murphys in town. The attractions in Beach Haven are numerous. There are museums, guided walking tours of the old Victorian section, concerts in the park, live plays at the Surflight Theatre, a Water Slide and amusement park. There are numerous churches etc.. St. Francis Center in Brant Beach offers a wide range of acquatic and sports programs for adults and children. Summer courses Yoga, pilots, surfing lessons, cooking etc. are varied and extensive. There is a spa in Ship Bottom. The Beach Haven Library offers a short time card for summer guests along with reading hours for small children. They also offer e-readers and internet use. There are many fine restaurants and casual eating establishments featuring a broad range of cuisine, all within a short ride or bike-riding distance! We collect menues and imput from our guests and leave them for other guests to read and add to. They include both eat in and take out suggestions. Rent a kayak, jet-ski or sailboat! A short drive off the island features stock-car racing at New Egypt, several golf courses, a rifle range and go-cart amusements! There is a very wide range of shopping just off the island. TJ Maxx, Lowe's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Cosco, Target, Dick's Sports, Five Below, Game Stop, Michael's and the list goes on. We cannot control the weather but if you are evacuated by a hurricane we try to accomodate with shoulder season offerings. Come spend some time in 2012!!!
