If you want to experience a little piece of heaven, here is it.This well maintained cottage is furnished with everything to make your stay comfortable-from the hammock on the deck for sunny days, to comfy couches on which to stretch out and read on rainy days and even a wood stove to take off the evening chill . It comes equipped with anything and everything you will need for your vacation stay, just bring your swim suit and toothbrush! The cottage is very private and quiet as it sits up in the trees, with a great ocean view, yet a short walk leads you right to down Popham beach. Popham is wonderful with an expansive sandy beach, lighthouse views, islands to which you can walk at low tide, and mesmerizing surf. Early morning walks on the beach to collect shells,afternoons spent sitting in beach chairs reading a good book, taking dips in th ocean or riding the waves, as well as evening walks to watch the sunset are all highlights of our days at the Popham. If you get tired of the slow pace of beach life, Freeport is close for shopping, Bath has museums to tour, and there are great restaurants within a few miles to sample wonderful Maine seafood (lobster anyway you like it).
