Located on a scenic bluff directly on Lake Michigan, come and enjoy the relaxing view from the large deck, enjoy walks along the beach and playing in the water. There is a biking/walking trail located at the end of the drive that leads to Petsokey and Charlevoix. If you like to shop, there are plenty of shops located in nearby Petoskey and Charleviox. After a day of exploring, enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants or sit on the beach and enjoy the sunset. There is so much to do you will have to come back year after year.

Bon Voyage!

What an amazing holiday! We arrived to the sweetest lakefront home. Spic and span it was ready for immediate occupation. Just as described we had all the amenities of home , the most spectacular waterfront views and sunset evenings.
After days of touring from Charlevoix to the Tunnel of Trees we returned to the cooling comfort of the 'Chalet'. Evening suppers from the BBQ on the deck were capped off with fireside evenings plus SMORES, glorious sunsets followed by starry skies. We managed a scenic bicycle ride on the nearby trail alongside Lake Michigan.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Knot just a Bar at Bay Harbor, We feasted at Leg's Inn. We lunched at the Weathervane, the Stafford Inn, Red Mesa Grill and The Pier. Iced Coffees from Roast and Toast topped off an afternoon of shopping. We had a morning of fun at Pirates Cove! Arrrrgh! We even managed a visit with friends at Michigania! Go Blue! Local grocery stores were able to supplement anything we forgot for those wonderful late evening suppers. Shopping was highlighted by Sturgeon River Pottery, Cherry Republic and Cutlers. We look forward to returning next summer.

A Perfect Week!

We just got home from a perfect week at this great cottage! Everything you needed was there and it was clean, with all the amenities you could want. The beds were comfortable as was the rest of the house and the location was, of course, perfect. As others have said, the beach is rocky but the view is beautiful from the deck. We particularly enjoyed our dinner at The Grey Gables and we found the Weathervane in Charlevoix to be over-priced; go for a drink and the view instead. We are already planning our next week at this rental!

Perfect, Private Slice of Heaven on Lake Michigan.

Sleeping to the sound of the waves on the shore, hunting for Petoskey stones on the beach. Watching the boats and the waves and the sunsets. Splashing in the pristine water. Gathering with family for a BBQ on the deck. This was a little slice of heaven on Lake Michigan. You see the big lake as you enter the front door! The cottage is clean and smartly decorated. All the amenities you could need. Away from it all, but just down the road from all the great shops and sites of Petoskey. We make an annual trek back to MI from Arizona to see family, be on the big water and make a day trip to the UP. This was a great home base for it all. Whether a family or a romantic getaway for two, it is perfect. Cheryl, the owner was a delight to work with and really thought of everything to make the stay comfortable, easy and welcoming for her guests. We made a lot of great memories on our stay this year. Thanks Cheryl.

Awesome time!!!

We spent a week here in mid-July with 4 adults and 2 toddlers and it was absolutely amazing! The cottage is exactly as advertised. It was cute and had all the amenities we needed. Everything was well thought out. There were even games for the kids. We didn't have to bring anything extra. The beach is not sandy but it was perfect for exploring and rock picking with our two little ones (4 years old and 14 month old). The waves are not big so they could walk out by themselves. You can put a chair in the water and just sit and enjoy. Very peaceful, relaxing and quiet. The deck is gated off so even with a toddler he can run around and not get away :) There is a great bonfire pit to watch the awesome sunsets and make s'mores. We truly had an amazing time with our family. We even got to see an eagle fly by twice!!

We definitely will go back and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away and enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. The owners were very helpful. There was a minor issue on the first day and all we had to do was make one call and it was fixed in no time.
