Sun-filled cottage nestled up to beautiful Stage Fort Park in Gloucester. House is 1160 sq ft, 1st flr consists of one bedroom, one full bath, eat-in kitchen, laundry, living room w/ pullout twin loveseat, pellet stove, glass enclosed sun/mudroom. Two doors leading out onto front deck and to fenced front yard. Upstairs large master bedroom with separate sitting area and second, exclusive deck. House has nice hardwood floors, skylights and cathedral ceilings. Walk to 3 beaches in 5 min or less, or stroll over to the famous Cupboard in season for a bite to eat. The Park consists of Half Moon and Cressy's beaches. Half Moon is a lovely small beach ideal for families with children. Cressy's Beach is a rocky, more natural beach. There is also playground. Visitors can bring grills for cookouts. During the season, there are outdoor concerts and story telling. Dogs are allowed in the Park but not on the beaches from May 1st to September 15th.

My family of four stayed here in August 2009. While there is NO view at all, it is very close to walk to Stage Fort park. Homes here are close together-- you can hear neigbor noise and dogs easily. My kids loved climbing on the rocks at the waters edge (in SFP) and using the baseball and tennis facilities. You can also walk to a little fast food restaurant at the beach.
The house itself is clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for four. The upstairs is great for several kids to spread out, with it's own TV so that the parents can have the downstairs after the kids go to bed. Kitchen is well equipped and modern, no problems there.
Overall, I would stay here again.

This place was fantastic, clean and well appointed. The setting is private. Lots of room for for 4-6 people. Also, walking distance to the park.

I just got back from staying at this property and it was very pleasant. It is very conveniently located, very clean and well maintained. Usually photos of this type of property overstate the condition but in this case the actual property is better than the photos. I would definitely recommend this property and plan to stay there again.
