An excellent value -- very comfortable, clean and true to the description. Cottage is fully stocked with everything you might need right down to doggie bed, ball, bowls & bisquits. Property is spacious and near to Crescent Lake and town of Wolfeboro where you can walk around, eat or shop at the very quaint stores. Location is driving distance to Weirs Beach, Castle in the Clouds, hiking trails, fishing, boat rides, swimming, dining etc. A great place to enjoy peace, quiet and plenty of family activities. Highly Recommend!!

Great private location, close to town and walking trail.
Very clean and well stocked with linen goods and kitchen needs.
Nice big yard for family fun or just sitting out.
Location also works well for day trips.
We enjoyed out stay and would recommend it.
Owner's Response: Day trips from Wolfeboro include Portsmouth, Hampton Beach, Laconia Weirs Beach, Meredtich, N. Conway, Franconia, and Portland Maine.

The "Cottage on High Street" is a lovely get-away for the vacationer who wants the comforts of home in a cozy, immaculate, and beautifully decorated cottage. This unique cottage reflects the owners' care and talents in wanting to make their tenants feel welcome - rare in today's world. We only wish we could have brought our son as he would have loved it! This well appointed cottage and yard surrounded by woods have a positive atmosphere that makes one feel relaxed and on vacation! It is near Winnipesaukee Lake and Wentworth Lake, both having beautiful public beaches. Within walking distance is the rail trail for biking and walking. There are numerous places for kayaking and hiking, and outstanding restaurants for hungry appetites. Nearby are a variety of shops and antique stores. We regretted the week went so quickly and hope we can return in the near future. This cottage would be ideal in any season!

A secluded cottage in the woods of Wolfeboro

Julie was most helpful in booking our very last minute New Years Eve 2010 stay. Taking credit cards certainly helped expedite the transaction. The house was warm and welcoming, especially with the goodies that greeted us in the glass domed cake plate. The house was as cozy as the pictures depicted it would be. The linens on the beds were high-end and luxorious. The kitchen, open to the main room, kept our family of 5 together but not on top of each other. She left us buttons for us to attend Wolfboro's "First NIght", which was exactly the kind of event we were looking for to ring in 2011. The fireworks were impressive and then we had a great meal at El Centenario- a delicious Mexican Restaurant. Our dog was very happy on the recreation trail at the bottom of the road. It basically is a beautiful cottage in a quaint location.

The BEST Cottage in Wolfeboro - I give it 5 Stars!

I have experience in renting cottages/homes in the US and Europe & I found this one to be one of the most delightful cottages to stay. The location is surburb, very private. The design of the cottage is perfect, play area on one end...sleeping area on the opposite and up stairs. The owners have decorated it in bright cheerful colors - I was there for Thanksgiving week (2010) and the weather was a little grey. But when your in the cottage, it puts you in a cheerful mood. I truly appreciate good linens and the owner went all out to provide beautiful luxurious bedding and towels. I also love a well appointed kitchen and like to cook, so was pleasantly pleased to see all the supplies, including good knives!

To me, its the little touches that make a house a home. I loved all the sweet flowers, signs, pillows & pictures. There are ample supplies of DVD's, books, puzzles & piece and quiet!

And if all of that wasn't enough, Julie had waiting for us, a wonderful pumpkin bread with yummy icing, which she had made. It was presented it on a lovely cake stand with a beautiful glass cover. She even shared her recipe!

My only regret was missing Julie when she stop by to see how we were doing! I was sorry to have missed her - I wanted to tell her just how happy we were with the place. Hopefully we'll meet on our next vacation when we stay at her sweet cottage in Wolfeboro!
