Unit 406 at Angler's Cove is well equipped for laid back fun on the sugary white sand beaches of Pinellas County. It is on the 4th floor front corner of the building. Kick back in a rocking chair or have dinner alfresco on our wraparound balcony as you watch the sun sink into the Gulf of Mexico. Interior renovated, including kitchen and bathroom cabinets, counter tops, paint, tile, carpet, ceiling fans and window treatments. We have tried to imbue it with a comfortable beach cottage feel by decorating in muted blues and greens. We like to cook and bake and have supplied the kitchen accordingly. This is not your typical bare bones condo rental. We use it as a second home to gather with our families who live in the area. Downstairs there is a beachfront heated pool, jacuzzi and grill/picnic area. There is laundry on each floor, 2 elevators, covered parking, and on-site security and maintenance. Wi-Fi included. You will love your stay in paradise. Check out our reviews.

Furnishings updated regularly: Carpet in bedrooms, as well as rocking chairs on balcony, replaced January 2012. The sofa and loveseat as well as living room blinds and area rug were replaced in Dec. 2008. We regularly replace the sheets, quilts and shower curtain liners as needed. We stay at our condo several times a year and can see for ourselves when things need to be cleaned or replaced. We also take time during these visits to touch up the paint. This is why our condo is consistently described as the best one in the building. It's because we care. We do not cover our annual expenses on this condo with rental fees, and certainly do not make money. Please respect it and take care of it as you would your own home so that we can all enjoy a beautiful getaway :)

My husband I grew up, met and married in St. Petersburg. We left the area in 1991 for graduate school but our families and friends continue to draw us back to Florida. We live on Cape Ann, north of Boston with our son.

Why Tanya Stubbs chose Redington Shores

We looked at property for 3 years, each time we would visit, before we found this unit at Angler's Cove. We love that there is an on-site rental manager to take care of any issues our guests have. We also loved it because of it having 3 BR and 3 BA. Very few condos have that much space. We wanted to be able to quit dividing our time in FL between our two mothers homes, and were tired of renting condos on the beach that just didn't measure up. Now when we go to FL, everyone comes to our condo and we don't have to leave! And that's the thing, when we are there, we always try to figure out how to stay just a day or two more. It is never enough time.

Perfect for a ladies weekend

My friends and I (8 of us) loved staying at the condo for our "girls weekend". Plenty of room for all of us. Loved having 3 full bathrooms, comfortable beds and beautiful beachy decor. The kitchen has everything you could think of...there were even 8 plastic champagne glasses for mimosas in the morning. The view was gorgeous and sitting on the wrap around porch in the rocking chairs was very relaxing! I am coming back again in March for another girls weekend.....can't wait to return!

Spacious unit with an excellent view; great locati

4 1/2 star rating. Unit is a true 3 bed, 3 bath with privicy doors. Very clean. We had an infant and were comfortable letting her crawl everywhere. Unit could use some updating, as couches and some carpet were worn. Excellent, clean pool and grounds. Great beach location. Easy parking.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the 4 1/2 star rating! We are glad you enjoyed the location views, beach and pool, as well as the cleanliness of our condo. We are aware the sofa needs replacing. We had it cleaned in January but are planning to replace it in October when we are there again and can see to it ourselves. The carpet was replaced in 2011, and has not held up as well as it should have. We are committed to keeping our condo up to the highest standards and will be replacing the carpet as well. We hope that you will keep our condo in mind for future vacations and give us a chance to earn a 5 star review!

Wonderful family reunion.

We had eight family members (and one friend) and really enjoyed our condo vacation. There was plenty of space and a well-equiped kitchen. Instead of eating out, we made fish tacos, sushi, and pizza on various nights and had a great time together. Enjoyed daily walks on the beach and a boat ride at John's Passage. Hope to return next year.

Nicely appointed, bright and refreshing.

This unit has been our favorite so far of all the units we have stayed in at Angler's Cove. It is bright, comfortable, and nicely appointed with lovely furniture, tasteful decorations (we got a real kick out of the big marlin in the living area) and a very well supplied kitchen where I could cook meals with ease.
My grandchildren and I enjoyed the rocking chairs on the balcony where we watched beautiful sunsets and ate breakfast in the mornings while enjoying the sound of the ocean and seagulls. My husband and son took advantage of the pier right beside the complex for some fishing time. We had a good view of the pier from our balcony.
The grandchildren watched some of the many choices of videos in their room, and everyone enjoyed having their own beds with tv and plenty of closet and drawer space as well as their own bathrooms which had hair dryers and lots of cabinet space. Hubby and I enjoyed having the extra door to the balcony in our master bedroom as well as having a king sized bed. The wifi was also a plus.
The owner, Tonya was a pleasure to work with and made the process seamless. The property managers were great, very friendly and welcoming and Chris helped me out with a printing need. Thanks, Chris!
In addition to enjoying the beach and pool along with the wonderful hot tub, we attended a Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game while we were there, enjoying Spaghetti Warehouse in Ybor City before the game. We also had a blast at Busch Gardens in Tampa, lots to do for all ages. I recommend going for two days if you can, sometimes they have a special on a second day.
Our favorite local eats and excursions included Conch Republic (my personal favorite), the Frog Pond for brunch-yummy, Wahoo's (a local eatery and bar where we ate out on the deck out back with a good fresh seafood menu) and shopping at John's Pass (always fun), having lunch at Bubba Gump's while there.
The property is older so don't expect a super modern high rise condo, but for the money, the charm, the space (great for families) and location, you can't beat it and it is fairly well maintained. And this condo has been updated. The location on the beach is great with access to shopping, wonderful seafood restaurants and ease of getting to major attractions. I would highly recommend this property.

Great Place for a Family vacation!!!!

The listing matched to a T. It was very well equipt with all the items you would need as far as untensils,dishes,plates, bowls,ect. are concerned. Basically all you need to bring is the food and drinks. The Condo as well as the property was very clean and well maintained. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The view of the beach from the balcony was awesome and was great to watch the sunsets from as well. We also had fun at John's Pass walking around and shopping in the many stores and resaurants there. The Friendly Tavern was a great casual place for food and drinks. We will definitely stay here again. We will also definitely recommend it to family and friends. Awesome Place!!!!

Amazing!

This condo is beautiful! The view of the gulf from the living room, dining room, kitchen and deck is absolutely stunning. The walk to the beach is barely 30 feet from the door of the building to the powdery soft gulf sand. This was a great vacation.

We are located about halfway between St. Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach, at 17450 Gulf Blvd, Redington Shores. Downtown St. Pete has the only museum in the world dedicated to artist Salvador Dali. Deep sea fishing, sightseeing and gambling cruises are all available about 5 miles south in John's Pass Village. Tampa has an excellent science museum, aquarium and a great medium-size zoo, as well as Busch Gardens and Adventure Island (water park). Sea World and Disney World as well as Pleasure Island, MGM and Universal Studios are all about 90 miles away in Orlando. However, you may find yourself not wanting to go anywhere! Right out your front door is the Dubai Long Pier extending 1,021 ft. into the Gulf of Mexico. Catamaran and paddle boat rentals available a short walk south along the beach. St. Pete has many fun festivals and events throughout the year. Great restaurants nearby, both fine and casual.

Notes:
All four TV's are flat-screen. Wi-Fi is now available. Ask at the front desk for the sign-on information. The lobby has local restaurant and activities guides. I can recommend a very good massage therapist. Office has an extensive DVD library which you can rent for $2.00 each. Pool area has bathrooms, plenty of lounge chairs (which may not be taken to the beach) and several tiki-style umbrellas for shade. There is usually a collection of 'noodles' and assorted pool/beach toys in one corner of the pool area. All chairs, and noodles for our unit are marked with '406' to help keep up with them so they will be there for the next guest. There are coin-operated washer/dryers on each floor of the building. Bring your own beach towels. We have tried leaving beach towels in the unit, but they have all disappeared. Please, no smoking on balcony or in condo.
