Falmouth House in Maravista Area, Close to Water, Bring Your Boat!

We stayed at the cottage the week of Labor Day 2009. We were in town for a wedding and decided to make a vacation out of it. The arrangement worked out great since we were arriving and leaving at different points during the week. The third bedroom provided by the space in the den was perfect to accommodate the over 21 kids. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and we enjoyed our welcome basket since we were starving! The location was great; we found plenty of places close by for take out, groceries and odds and ends. The weather was beautiful, probably the best week of an otherwise rainy summer. We managed to get to three beaches - the only one still charging to park that week was Old Silver, but it was worth it since we stayed the entire day. We did spend one afternoon at Mashpee Commons to take a break from the sun and enjoyed the shopping and lunch. We also enjoyed our walks along the path at the end of the street and cooking out in the back yard. I would highly recommend the cottage.

Our family enjoyed a great week in Falmouth this past August. The cottage was clean and had so many things we needed: bikes, helmets, beach chairs, beach umbrellas. There was a well-stocked gift basket and welcome card waiting for us and the owner provides so much information about local beaches and things to do. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us with 2 tv rooms and indoor and outdoor dining areas. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place for a quiet, relaxing vacation. Quiet neighborhood, child friendly street; Immaculate house with a great deck; We loved and enjoyed every minute of our stay! Everything that you would need is there; ie: bikes, beach equipment, chairs. Very close to grocery store,other shops without having to go on all of the major routes to get there! We will definately be back next year!
