This condo was just perfect for our family of four. The views are absolutely spectacular and you can walk to the beach, cliffs and lighthouse. There are 1.5 baths but the outdoor shower makes it the same as having 2 full baths. I suspect the people at the top of the lighthouse can see in the outdoor shower but who cares - there are nude beaches anyhow and this is your vacation! There isn't a better view on the island. Aquinnah is very quiet and a bit of a car ride from everything (20-25 min to grocery store etc). Minimal traffic makes it great for running, walking and biking. This is a great spot for unplugging, relaxing and getting away from island traffic.
I stayed in this condo with my parents and had the most wonderful time. We had never been to Martha's Vineyard before and were not sure what location was best - this was exactly what we were hoping for! Being the corner condo, it is very private with views of the ocean out every window, the Gay Head Lighthouse in the backyard and it is within walking distance to the Aquinnah Cliffs and beach! There is also a lovely backyard that is spacious enough to play frisbee. We plan to make this our new spot! The wrap around porch was complete with a perfect breeze, no bugs, and is a great place to see the Milky Way on a clear night! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for the picture perfect Martha's Vineyard experience.
This property was perfect. In immaculate condition, we entered the first day and within minutes were relaxed. No matter what window you look , your view is of the ocean. Mornings are started perfectly with a cup of coffee on the deck, enjoying the smell of flowers and watching the waves crash on the not too distant Philbin Beach.
The lighthouse in the backyard, the views, the perfect yard for a little one to run around in. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and will definitely stay here again in years to come!
My adult children and I rented this lovely home this past summer and it was a wonderful vacation. The home was immaculate and well appointed and the location was amazing. I have stayed at other locations on the island but I enjoyed Aquinnah very much. I hope to visit again.
