Year round 30 Ft. permanent camper situated on a gently sloping lot to the water on Secord Lake (no steps to climb), launch your boat or PWC right here. This property is located on a channel (no wake) that leads out to Secord Lake right where all the action is. All sports Secord Lake is over 2,000 acres with over 30 miles of boating, enjoy fishing, skiing, or just cruising. While your out you can visit the Lost Arrow Resort for fine dinning, Lakeshore Village Marina for Hot Dogs, Ice Cream, & Pizza, play on the 1 Acre knee deep sand bar right around the corner, or if your an Fraternal Order of Eagles member, visit the finest club in Michigan, all accessible by boat or car.

Nearby State Land offers miles & miles of Hunting, Hiking, Snowmobiling, Motorcycle & ATV trails. ATV'S are now allowed on the roads of gladwin county, ride right from your rental.

Houghton Lake home of (Tip Up Town USA) 40 minutes away, and Bay City which hosts Hydroplane Racing every summer, also 50 minutes away. ATV'S now allowed on county roads, ride right from your rental property.

Not a 4 star hotel....but.....very relaxing!

My family and I stayed here for one of the most relaxing weeks we can remember having! If your looking for 4 star living this is not the place,but, if your looking for a nice quiet and relaxing area....this is it! Ted and Barb are fantastic folks!!! Aside from having 2 skunks visit us the first two nights everything was great. Ted and Barb were only a phone call away for any questions I had. Thanks again for the great time!

It's not livin' in the lap of luxury but then the plan is to head out into the North and the country. Neat, clean with plenty of woods and water atmosphere, it is a great spot for getting away, getting into God's great nature.
And the owners are most helpful and hospitable.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

our great weekend

My family and I had a great time on this site. The camper was very roomy and everything except our food and clothing was provided. The camper was clean and well maintained. The yard went right down to the canal and the kids swam all day.Wood for campfire was provided on site. On our frist day we seen a family of deer.It was peacefull and neighbors were friendly. I hope we will get to use this property again. It was a wonderful time. The cost was just what we could afford.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
