Carolina Beach property

We began the week with a broken air conditioner which wasn't so bad because the weather was cooler. It was fixed before the weather warmed up, so all was good. Then the owner asked if we would allow a realtor in to show the property because it was actually for sale. We allowed it but were slightly uncomfortable. There were several features that needed attention but were workable: no tray in the microwave, clean dishes in the dishwasher that we had to put away, no toilet paper and I don't remember being told that we would need to bring our own, carpeting in poor condition, no pay for view movies or movie channels and no nearby video store that we were aware of, not enough towels. Our last night a storage door came open in the wind and began slamming outside our bedroom window. Our owners contacted the owner and got access for us to secure the door. I give these details for positive criticism in an effort to improve the property but also stress that there were more positives than negatives and that we enjoyed our stay.

Owner's Response: We appreciate Ms. Barker submitting the comments for her family's stay. We are sorry for any inconveniences that may have been experienced. Our condo comes fully stocked with paper towels & toilet paper and 8 towels for a maximum of 6 persons. We no longer have the same cleaning person - who was supposed to leave toilet paper and put the dishes away before the next renter! The microwave tray has been replaced. We have basic cable channels & a DVD player. There is a movie rental place (Movie Gallery) right next to Food Lion (the only grocery store on the island). We could not control the upstairs door slamming, but certainly took care of the condition immediately.
