Thanksgiving Gathering

Our family of 12 enjoyed Thanksgiving week at this lovely home. We gather once or twice a year since everybody is spread around so where we meet has to be special. This was special, great location, beautiful views of sunrise and sunsets from the multi-level deck. We arrived very early to unload and the owner was nice to allow an early check-in (10 am) since it was off season. The owner walked us through the house and answered our questions. The views were spectacular and the house was large and spacious, great for big families. There were also 3 TV's so folks could spread around and enjoy their own space when they wanted it.This home had a great layout with multiple beds and baths on each level so the children had there own niche in the house when they wanted. The house was clean and well equipped, we couldn't find a garbage schedule but the owner indicated off season was different. We had no issues and everything functioned as expected. There was a gas fireplacethat made for a cozy clutch for the ladies While then men fished on the beach with the children. Our Children & Grandchildren had a great time and enjoyed the house, especially the views from the huge multi-level decks. Long morning walks on the beach with the children made for wonderful memories. We had great weather most of the time and when it got cloudy/rain a well deserved shopping spree was in order, although many of the shops were closed that time of year. There was also a limited amount of resturants off season. We would highly recommend this property to family and friends. Wonderful! We plan on a future stay.

Fabulous View

The house was exceptional but the amenities were less than adequate......no teapot, nor colander and the pots were ancient. The furniture in the living room was not as shown in the picture on the website and was not comfortable. The views were great and the house was clean. I would have rated it higher if it wasn't for the amenities.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. In response to your comments, there was a brand new unopened 12 piece Faberware non-stick set of pots and pan in the lower cabinet to the left of the washer, had you contaced me at the time to let you know, perhaps we should have advised or made more visible. To your comment, we did add a new Teapot. We also added another metal colander as well, don't know what happen to the other. The living room furniture was different from the pic on the website because we had just bought the living room set a few weeks earlier at the start of the summer season. We thought it was very comfortable. In any event we take our guests feedback seriously so thank you for your comments as we strive to provide our guests with a great vacation experience.

Memorial Weekend Family Reunion

The house was great. The views were beautiful and the decks were huge. We had a family reunion and there was plenty of room for adults and the kids. The 3 TV's and internet on 3 levels kept the kids busy. We had great weather. The ocean water was cold but it was great just hanging on the deck with the ocean views. There were Tiki Torches we used at night. The 2 outside showers made it easy for the kids to rinse off. The smoke detector kept going off all night first night, we called the owner and he came over to replace the unit the next day. We also could have used a Large Lobster Pot but we managed with the 2 large pots. Otherwise a great place we have reserved a week in Aug here to.
