This new home (Built in 2002) is located on 5.7 acres. It is surrounded by wild rolling forests, and near to significant conservation lands. It has views out to the Vineyard Sound and the Elizabeth Islands. The setting generally feels like Vermont on the Vineyard. Most of the furniture pieces are real antiques from Asia, including 100 year old canopy beds in two of the bedrooms, one of which has a 2nd floor balcony. The third bedroom has two twin beds. You can see the water from every room in the house. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove as well as quality Weber BBQ outside on the water view brick patio. Downstairs is open concept .All floors are wood or quality ceramic tile.

Many miles of wild beautiful beaches. Some have dunes, others have multicolored clay cliffs up to 300 feet tall. Menemsha a fishing village is only 3 miles away and has restaurants, sea food markets, shops and antiques. The 3 major town are 1/2 hour drive and have everything else you might want.

Beaches: There are numerous beaches all around Aquinnah. The Aquinnah cliffs are open to the public and have 300 foot multicolor clay cliffs. This beach is up there for beautiful beaches anywhere in the world. Philbin Beach ,where you walk over sand dunes to get to the beach requires a beach pass. Just bring your lease to town hall weekdays between 9AM and noon to get a pass. Just take a short drive or bike ride and there are many more to be found.
