The main house is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath fully furnished home that can accommodate 10 occupants. Sit on the porch facing the lake front for breakfast and enjoy the gorgeous sunrise through the oak and magnolia trees. Relax in the evening in the rocking chairs or swings and don't miss the glistening moonlight reflecting off the serene lake, interrupted only by the occasional splash of a trophy bass or sac-a-lait. The Property provides a spacious setting which includes a private fishing pier, boat house, launch, fish cleaning area, outdoor kitchen, BBQ pit, large screened in porch and plenty of shade trees with swings and benches to sit, meditate or read a good book. You will be only minutes away, by water or land, from various recreational areas, services and amenities, such as Cypress Bend Resort and Golf Course, Shadows Landing, Turtle Beach, Toledo Town etc.

You talk about wonderful. We fished and layed back at this beautiful house on the lake. If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of your busy life for some R/R them this is your place. My family and friends loved it. There was plenty of room on the grounds for everyone to do their own things and if we wanted to be together there is a great sunroom that overlooks the lake or a outdoor kitchen to gather in. We are going back in a few months. I CAN'T WAIT..............
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Enjoyable Weekend

My family stayed at the camp this past weekend and had a nice time. I enjoyed the feeling of solitude and the relazing sounds of the birds. The men fished in the early mornings and napped when they returned and we cooked
in the evenings. My twelve year old stayed on the pier fishing between fishing trips. On Saturday we went tubing in a cleared area and had a blast (put plenty of sunscreen)!
The camp was spacious with several glass porches. We would of saved time if we would of stopped and shopped at WalMart and Big Star on the way in rather than returning after we unpacked because it was about a 20 minute drive one way. We are planning to return.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children

I wanted to make sure that the owners receive my family’s enthusiastic ‘THANK YOU’ for allowing us the rental of Da Camp. We all had a wonderful time!! It was so much bigger and nicer than we anticipated. What a wonderful camp!

And a big thank you to Mr. Kenneth who helped me find a “beach” for the kids to swim! They had a wonderful time at the Sabine River Authority Park Beach at the foot of the Pendleton Bridge. They had a blast!

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

What a WONDERFUL place! My husband and I had two glorious days doing nothing but listening to the birds sing! Then our grown "kids" came and we had a grand time. Nice Place! So quiet. If you go here plan for lots of R&R, you bearly even get a cell signal! Very nice camp, clean and comfy, just right for a short vacation with the whole family. The outdoor kitchen gave us plenty of room for dinners together and the dock on the lake was great for bird watching in the evening. Thanks so much! We really enjoyed our stay.

Me, my husband and 2 other couples stayed at Da Camp back in April and had a lot of fun. Re-booked another trip the same week we got home to go back this June. Can't wait! Lots of fishing and relaxing.
