Panoramic views from 3 decks, excellent location for bird watching, boating, clamming, walking or just enjoying nature. Shore birds, Tree Swallows, Barn Swallows and Purple Martins and more abound on property! The Eastern Shore is known for spectacular fishing, crabbing, clamming and water sports with clean, fertile waters and stunning natural surroundings. Quaint, local restaurants offer steamed seafood in charming dine-on-wharf settings. Gull's Way is a pure delight to the senses. So if you are entertaining, just bring the food! All Amenities in the home including a Full size washer and dryer. Relaxing Vacation

This is one of the most relaxing vacations we've ever had. The house was wonderful. Very well maintained and clean. The bird watching was wonderful and the barrier islands were just a short boat ride away.
The islands were very secluded and shells were very plentiful.

There are wonderful restaruants in Onnanock for dining out also excellant seafood is available for cooking at the house.

The owner provided fresh fish one night and helped us get the most wonderful lobsters for $5.99 a lb. for cooking a the house. We also caught crabs from the dock.

I just cannot explain how enjoyable morning coffee is on the dock. It's so pieceful with herons, skimmers, egrets and geese flying over. You can see clapper rails in the marsh and there is a large variety of song birds.

The master suite downstairs has plenty of privacy and teenagers would be very content upstairs with their private living quarters

If you want a vacation to get away from it all, get away in extreme comfort this is THE PLACE!

Aviary

It's like living in an aviary (swallows, martins, eagles, cardinals, finches, osprey, gulls, cormorants, pelicans, heron, egrets, geese, ducks, bobwhite, oystercatchers, plovers, terns, sandpipers, hummingbirds, mockingbirds, and many shorebirds). The owner took us (two couples) to a barrier island for shelling and to the ocean for dolphin watching. He took us flounder fishing (plenty for 2 meals). The flounder scraps were used for crab, which we feasted on the following day. We drove to Assateague Island several days to see the wild ponies and feast on ice cream at the Island Creamery. It's a great place to get away from it all and relax. The only boat traffic past the dock during our 10 day stay was the owner and a few crab and clamming boats. There's a great fried chicken place within 5 miles (B&Js). Owner can tell you where to buy some very fresh shrimp and scallops.

Get Away From It All

If you are looking for a beautiful, serene environment away from all the hustle and bustle of most seaside places, where you can just unwind and relax, this is the place for you. The views are incredible and the home is spacious and spotless. There's plenty to do in this area if you need to, but if you just want to relax, no one will bother you here. There's plenty of room for the whole family to spread out, and you can enjoy your own private island if you want to, just ask the owner to shuttle you over. I just wish we had another week!!

What a beautiful home and an amazing setting! We loved every minute of our vacation--boating, crabbing, fishing, birdwatching, and enjoying the beauty of the Eastern Shore. The house is beautifully furnished and well-maintained.
