Well appointed, private home. 2,400 SF New England cape on a private Folly Point directly across the road from Folly Cove Beach and Tide Rocks Preserve. On the Rockport line with easy access to Bearskin Neck, train to Boston, and local beaches/whale watches. Quality home built in 2002 with a 1000sf great room with open concept kitchen and a private family room on the first floor. Second floor with open loft, private office with room for provided air mattress (full height), and 3 bedrooms (2 queens and one bunk room). Large mudroom with lots of storage. Two and 1/2 baths; second floor with shower and soaking tub, first floor with shower stall, master bedroom with 1/2 bath. Wireless internet access, computer, HDTV, cable, etc. Bikes, lawn games, BBQ, garden furniture. Close to swimming quarries, Halibut Point State Park, Dog Town for hiking and mountain biking, Flat Rocks for snorkeling and birdwatching, includes guest cards to private, sandy Light House Beach in Annisquam

Folly Cove for snorkeling and boating, Light House Beach for swimming, Tide Rocks for fishing, walking, and cook outs, Gloucester for restaurants, night life and access to whale watches and fishing trips, and Rockport for Bearskin Neck shops and restaurants and access to sailing and rocky coastal walks.

A beautiful home and location!

We recently spent the Christmas holiday at 10 folly point and we were completely charmed. The home has a comfortable but elegant homey feel with really high quality furniture and fully stocked kithen accessories. Being midwesterns the best part was really feeling like we were really in New England. We loved the short walk to the flat rocks on the ocean where we spent hours walking along the shore (even in the cold winter wind) And even though the home is secluded on a woodsy road - it is just a short walk to charming Lanesville and Rockport is just a few miles down the road. I'd love to come back in the summer when it must be even more amazing.
I'd highly recommend this as a great get away for a friends or a family.
