Charming 3 story cottage in a unique setting. Furnished 3 bedroom. 2 bathroom house with front/back porches, a part of larger estate in Stockbridge, in heart of the Berkshires. Located at the edge of village on a private road. Very private and secluded, but easy walking distance of center of village of Stockbridge and shops, tennis courts, Berkshire Theatre Festival, etc. Close to town beach, Berkshire Botanical Garden, Norman Rockwell Museum, only five miles to Tanglewood, and easy drive to Jacob’s Pillow, Williamstown Theatre, Clark Institute, Mass MoCA. Tenant has use of grounds with swimming pool, extensive lawns, flower gardens maintained by landlord. Features include newly refinished hardwood floors,handicapped stair glide to 2nd floor, monitored security system, TV/VCR, fully equipped kitchencharcoal grill. Utilities, Long Distance telephone and High Speed Internet included. There are no onsite laundry facilities. Pets must be approved by landlord. No Children under 6, please.

Half an hour to Berkshire Choral Festival, antiquing in Sheffield and Ashley Falls, visit Hancock Shaker Village, 45 minutes to Clark Art Institute & Mass MOCA Williamstown Theater Festival. Climb Mount Greylock or Monument Mountain in summer, ski Butternut Basin, Catamount or Jiminy Peak in the winter.
