Ledgemere beckons you back to the summers of your youth and welcomes you to the perfect summer vacation home. Spacious, rambling, quaint, and charming, this classic 'Summer House' promises barefoot days, firefly nights, and peaceful dreams. Ledgemere happily accommodates larger groups or families of up to ten (10) people. Additional small rental cottage and private deck accommodates four (4) additional people separate from the main house. Large porches, one open and one screened, offer the opportunity for hours of lazy games. Rent kayaks or canoes from nearby Seaspray Kayak Rentals & Tours or small craft from the New Meadows Marina and launch them from the private dock, or better still, bring your own. Ledgemere was formerly the New Meadows Yacht Club from 1947-1957 and provided sheltered deep water anchorage for transient boats. It currently has a deep water mooring available for those vacationing with their boat.

This place is spectacular! There are actually 6 bedrooms, all with water views. Relaxing on the porch watching lobster fishermen check and reset their traps was the best!
The place was spacious, and well stocked with household & kitchen items. The screened porch was great for meals. It is located between Freeport and Boothbay harbor, which made it convenient for shopping and sight seeing. We would definately stay here again!
