Bath Vacation Rental

We had a great time at Ledgemere! Wonderful, rambleing old house. There were just a few things that we found a problem with:

1. dishes, silverware, ect had to all be washed before using--the dishes were dusty and dirty and the silverware and glassware the same.

2. Drawers had to all be cleaned out before we could use them---dusty, dirty and some mouse droppings in them.

3. Overall cleanliness of the house could have been better---cobwebs, ect.

4. Phone did not work the entire time we were there--even after calling and letting the rental agent know about it.

5. Outside camp fires should be allowed in the fire ring that is there. There is a water hose right there and a fire ring that should be able to be used by any responsible party.

6. The house is so large that there should be a possiblity to have your dog/dogs with you.

7. Looking forward to upgrades in the kitchen---new range, dishwasher and a larger refridgerator would all be huge +++ in this house.



But overall, we loved our stay in Ledgemere and would love to be able to stay there again. The occupancy should also be higher--the house could easily hold 12-15 people. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Loved the huge porch and the screened-in porch.

I would not hesitate to recommend Ledgemere to any family or group looking for an 'out of the way' quiet restful retreat.
