Wonderful location; wonderful apartment

I stayed here for a month while at Scuola Toscana (a language immersion school). This was my first time renting an apartment in Florence and was not disappointed. The apartment was very clean, very well appointed, very well located: only an 8 minute walk down the street and across Piazza Santa Croce to school. Lots of towels and linens were supplied along with cleaning supplies for an army including for the dishwasher that worked wonderfully, for the washer/dryer that worked wonderfully. And besides very close to all the major attractions (10 minute walk to the Duomo) it was also very convenient to markets, bakeries, restaurants, etc.
A couple of minor and easily solved issues: While the kitchen has lots of pots and pans, there are no lids for the sauce pans, but tin foil solved that little problem. The heating didn't work until one of my teacher's husband (an electrician) solved the problem that it wasn't turned on inside the water heater (non obvious to an American to look there). The TV is very small and on the opposite side of the room from the seating area, so I had to move an easy chair across the room so I could sit comfortably while watching it. And on the street there is a Slot Machine "casino" which was very noisy until 3-4 in the morning a few Friday nights. The A/C unit above the bed turned on helped drowned out the noise though.
All in all a wonderful stay and if available, I'll rent this apartment again next year when I'm in Florence.

Owner's Response: thank you for your positive opinion.
Prior to his arrival the heating worked perfectly, probably you have accidentally pressed the switch on the boiler! However, if I had known I would have immediately solved the little problem ..
