Photos and Description of the North Adams vacation cabin rental 1BR- Loft, 1BA, Sleeps 3. Very Clean, Full Kitchen.

Built in the 1990's, it has a queen size bed in the open sleeping loft, and there's a roll-out twin size sleeping bed available. There is a Lopi woodstove and firewood is included (plus there is central heat). The kitchen has a full-size stove and probably all the utensils and cooking equipment you will need. The bathroom has a shower but no tub. It's one mile off of the Mohawk Trail (Route 2) in Florida, Massachusetts; about 15 minutes to Mass MoCA, Berkshire East (downhill skiing) and Zoar Outdoor (fly fishing and kayaking); 20 minutes to Williams College and the Williamstown museums and theaters. Three State Forests are within a 15 minute drive. In Massachusetts, it snows first in Florida - 4WD vehicles recommended in winter.

Florida is on the scenic Mohawk Trail (route 2), between North Adams and Charlemont. We are very close to Vermont and New York via beautiful drives on Route 8, 8A, 7 or 2. Williamstown and North Adams provide plenty of shopping, culture and basic necessities for your stay. Shelburne Falls (where we live) is 30 minutes away and worth a visit. There's rafting, fishing and canopy zip line tours nearby at Zoar Outdoor, Crabapple Whitewater and Moxie Rafting. The cabin itself is not isolated but very private, you will feel alone in the world surrounded by trees with Spruce Mountain as your neighbor.

Excellent cabin in the woods

My wife, 2 labs and I loved our week at this cabin. It was perfect - excellent location, lots of nature, fun time for the pups, who especially loved the brook at the bottom of the hill.

The stairs to the loft are a little steep, but the dogs figured it out.

We mostly cooked at the cabin - enjoyed the peace & quiet, and great kitchen set-up.

Mike & Randy were great hosts, with good grocery store tips, and tons of maps for us to use.

I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for some peace and quiet, and tons of nature opportunities.

Fell in love with the log cabin

Absolutely a perfect cabin to stay in The Berkshires for a week. The cabin took us away from the noise, craziness and hustle of New York City that we needed to leave behind. Clean, homey, wonderful assortment of kitchenware and most importantly generous and helpful owners.

Peace and Quiet and Perfection

We were looking for a place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. And to have some peace and quiet in a beautiful surrounding. This cabin was absolutely perfect. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. The surroundings are lovely with wonderful views. At night you can see the Milky Way. The cabin itself was very clean, excellently appointed, and completely comfortable. I can't imagine a better secluded getaway.

Remote and relaxing

Although we are city folks, this was such a nice getaway. Randy was very helpful and gave us all the details about what we would need for a relaxing stay. I am only sorry that our stay was short. Hanging out in the living room with the wood burning stove was very soothing. I would definitely recommend this to others.
