Create your own family memories or just get away from it all by renting this charming, beautifully decorated colonial home. Cross the street to swim at a private, clean beach or watch the sail boat races from your front porch. Most rooms have spectacular water views. There is a large deck with patio furniture, spacious back yard and garden and water features. The master bedroom has a private bathroom. The house has central air conditioning and all the amenities you need for a memorable holiday. Walk to Niantic Village to enjoy the children's museum, theater, book store, ice cream shop, gourmet deli, restaurants and shopping. The house is located within 15 minutes of Mohegan Sun Casino and 35 minutes from Foxwood Casino. It is also close to Old Saybrook, Mystic and New London; all of which are known for their special tourist attractions, festivals and events for summer and autumn enjoyment.

Renter's Responsibilities: Renters are responsible for cleaning charges @ $125 per stay of 4 or more days.

With advance notice, arrangements can be made for tenants who desire additional cleaning services during their occupancy.

What should tenants bring? For weekly rentals, please bring sheets, towels, and perhaps your favorite pillows.

Please replace Charcoal and lighter fluid that you use.

You may wish to bring a beach blanket, additional sand chairs and beach umbrellas.

Also bring food, beverages, soap and detergents and special games for children.

Some lawn games are provided.

Renters must be 21 years of age and are required to sign a lease and to provide a security deposit which is refunded after the house is vacated in the same condition as when it was rented.

Academic rental from Sept to June or extended stay rental is available at a special rate. Contact owner for more information

Fabulous Summer Reprieve

Our second year of staying in this charming home for the summer didn't disppoint us. The house is very clean and is tastefully designed by the owner who is an interior decorator. The amenities that came with it made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. Being a few steps from a well-maintained private beach and the pristine waters of the Long Island Sound definitely added to our wonderful summer stay. The owner is very nice, accessible at all times, and truly catered to our comfort and satisfaction. The Book Barn on Main Street, the Nautilus and Submarine Force Museum in neighboring Groton, and the beautiful town of Mystic are great places to explore. Enjoy!!!

My family had a greaat time during our week's stay. The house was excellent which provided a very comfortable for all seven of us. The beach was close by and easy for all to use. I would recommend this house to anyone who asks. Hope to visit again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house in Niantic. It was an excellent place for family and friends to stay for the week of graduation at the US Coast Guard Academy. The house was clean and bright, it was well maintained, and matched its description on the website. The owner provided good customer service and communications. It's close proximity to Niantic was an advantage. We have already recommended it to friends.

A Week at the Beach

We stayed at this house for a week this summer. The house was very clean and spacious and had every amenity we could want. Our family enjoyed the beach which is located right across the street. My grandson enjoyed going to the park which was within walking distance. There were plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby on days we didn't spend on the beach. I would highly recommend staying here for a memorable vacation.

7 in my family rented this home for one week in July '11.The listing description is very accurate regarding location, layout of the home and amenities. This is a new home and the picture in the ad doesn't do it justice. We had 5 adults and two children (11&9) in our party and we were all pleased. Very large backyard with a small fish pond and and well maintained as is the house. We saw the owner a couple of times as she stopped by to feed the fish and to ask if we were enjoying our stay. Oak Grove beach is just across the street. It too was well maintained. The water was clean and enjoyable at low and high tides. Nice sandy bottom. Plenty of restaurants in the area and a stop and Shop close by. I'd like to rent this house again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
