Summer Rental of the house and apartment.:
If you would like to rent the most beautiful house in the Berkshires for the months from June through August, you should rent this house. With it comes a separate apartment for your guests or parents or teenage son. The house has been dramatically decorated with original artwork, designer furniture, lavish rugs and drapery. The landscaping is beautiful, with seven Chinese Empress trees and various benches for meditation. The house has a magnificent South-West mountain view from decks that surround the living room, dining room and atrium. Light pours in through many huge windows in the cathedral ceilings in living room, dining room. There is an extraordinary master suit, with large walk-in closet and a study. The main floor has two beautifully decorated bedrooms with a slightly Asian flavor, and a lovely full bath, custom kitchen, washer/dryer, open floor plan living room/dining room, and atrium with a view of the decks and the mountains beyond.
Ten adults are easily accommodated for sleeping.:
This house has a master bedroom with a queen sized bed. Outside the master bedroom, with a door between, there is a loft/study where there is a very comfortable couch that could easily sleep one large adult. On the main floor, there are two bedrooms. One, the red room, has a double, four poster bed. The other, the white room, has two twin sized beds. In the living room, there is a large, down-filled couch that more than comfortably sleeps one, or two who are madly in love. On the ground floor, in the separate apartment, there is another queen sized bed. So, there are ample sleeping accommodations, without using blow-up mattresses, for 10 adults, depending of course on their relationships with each other.
If you would like extra cleaning services, more than once every other week, during your stay, please contact my cleaning person and she will accommodate you. I will supply her contact information after you have booked your vacation.
Ski:
We are 5 minutes from Catamount Ski Resort and 20 minutes from Butternut. Bousquet and Jiminy Peak are withing 50 minutes, and we can cross-country ski from our front door. Links to websites available upon request.
Golf:
We are within 5 minutes of the Egremont Country Club, for Golfing, as well as Wyantenuck Country Club, a golfer's paradise, and within a short drive of Copake Lake Country Club, Columbia Golf & Country Club, Canaan Country Club, Norfolk Country Club Inc., Carvel Country Club, Sharon Country Club, Berkshire Hills Country Club, Cranwell Resort, Spa and Golf Club, and others.
