Help us keep low rates: We pride ourselves in keeping our rates hundreds of dollars less than others. We like to make it affordable to families that just cant afford $750 - $1200 per week. We do our own housekeeping, no outside labor costs involved. To help keep costs low we do ask that our guests try to leave the place as clean (nearly as clean) as it was when they arrived. Thanks, Dallas & Betty
Our family stayed in the Abbot cabin in September 2013. The setting is spectacular. There is wildlife in every direction. The weather was perfect, and there were no bugs to speak of. Even though the water on Kingsbury stream was a bit chilly, it was perfect swimming weather for my native Maine boys! Dallas is so friendly, and he goes above and beyond as a host. If in your need of a quiet, peaceful place to get away from it all, look no further.
This is our 3rd year here and we love this cabin. We have been to many camps and we have finally found our vacation spot. Dallas is a great host and he is willing to go the extra mile to make his guests comfortable. The cabin has all the comforts of home, it is very clean and affordable. Hearing the rapids that are just outside of the cabin is very relaxing. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a secluded area than this is the place for you.
Dallas was a great host. The cabin is well thought out and great for all ages. We visited with our 2 toddlers for the week, and had no problems. There was plenty to do around! Very well stocked, clean, and beautiful views. Dallas has many suggestions on places to visit. Will be back!
We were so happy there! Wonderful location. Everything you need in a cabin, lots of beds, comfy living room, easy to use TV and DVD player, fully-stocked kitchen. Dallas was so accomodating! Even left a toy and treats for our dogs! He called to see if we needed anything.
I have been going to Dallas & Betty’s camp for 4 years now I think. I usually go multiple times a year. Its been any were from just myself and my dog MILO, to my husband, step son, my son, and others. Most of the time it is just myself and MILO. The camp is a place were you can go and do nothing or everything. I go out in the woods and hike with MILO. I do a lot of fishing from in front of the camp to up or down stream. We also have gone to this great little spot called Barrows Falls. They have kayaks at the camp for people to use . I enjoy just spending time in the woods. The camp is well equipped. I have just come back from a long weekend and had a great time. It was a little cold but it’s March. I would recommend this camp to everyone!! Dallas and Betty are very nice people and are always just a phone call away if you need anything. I hope this review was helpful.
