In addition to 6 bedrooms, there is a large Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Den, Great Room, Wrap-Around Deck, and Laundry Room. Water views from almost every room. Lower level play room with ping-pong table leads to the Screened in Porch, Patio and Spacious waterfront back yard. Enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking from the dock on 57 acre Long Pond. Bring or rent your own small boats, no motor boats allowed on lake. The house includes all amenities plus 4 cable TVs, 3 DVD + 2 VCR players. 3/10 mile to Indian Memorial Beach and short distance to South Shore ocean beaches. Convenient to Supermarkets, Bank, Post Office, Video/DVD Rental, Restaurants and all shopping. Secluded yet close to everything. Renters don't have to do laundry on departure date.

This year, renters will not be required to launder sheets, pillow cases, towels and dish towels on departure morning. Just bring the linens to the laundry room. We will have 2 sets of all linens and will do the laundry during the week for the next renters. DSL high speed Internet service will be provided.

Ideal for Golfing Weekends: From September 12 through the end of October, our lakefront home is available for Golfing & Fishing parties.

GREAT VACATION!!!

We have been vacationing on the cape for 15 years and this was our first time on a lake. We were not quite sure if our children and grandchildren would enjoy the lake after so many years on the bayside of Cape Cod. The house was very clean, well equipped, spacious and close to all ammenities. The lake was ideal for swimming and fishing. All of this made for one of the most relaxing vacations we have had. At the end of the week, we all agreed that the Lakeland house is where we want to vacation in 2008!!!

Family Vacation at the Cape

Cape Cod was our choice for our 2009 Family Vacation. After searching on the Home Away site, I found what proved to be a wonderful choice. The home was spacious, comfortable, well supplied and the view of the lake was breath taking. Although there were 13 of us, everyone found time to be alone and read or just enjoy the view. The beds were comfortable and beautifully decorated. The 2nd dining room was used for our puzzle marathons. The formal living room was used for quiet talks and reading. The owners met us upon arrival and made sure everything was set for our vacation week. Even though the weather was not all that great, there was plenty to do and lots of room to hang out. I would recommend this home to anyone. Thank you Franklin & Melanie

This is a very gorgeous home, the pictures online do not do it justice. It has a nice yard that leads right to the lake, beautiful views for the rooms and deck. It is spacious with plenty room and storage. The house is very clean and well maintained, the owner was very friendly and always available if needed.... i loved this place, can't wait to come back, absolutely wonderful!!!

We've vacationed on Cape Cod as a family for years, and have finally found the perfect spot. This is a big, unique house with lots of room -- plenty of space to be together, but lots of space to "get away" to read, nap, etc. Each bedroom has it's own special decor and charm, and all are roomy. There's lots of outside space -- big decks, big yard, and right on a pond, which is great for swimming and paddling in boats. The location, while close to all amenities, is very quiet. All in all, a great place.
