Wonderful 1900s summer cottage with all the modern amenities and a wrap-around porch. Great for relaxing after a day at the beach, exploring the conservation area at Dogtown, or maybe deep sea fishing. Great yard located in the quiet Diamond Cove area of Annisquam. 5 minute walk to Lighthouse Beach or Diamond Cove. 10 minutes from downtown Gloucester or Rockport. Eat out at some of the best restaurants on the North Shore or grill on the porch. Gloucester Theater Company, Yankee Fleet, Beauport and Good Harbor beach are all nearby.

Located on the north side of Cape Ann in a quiet neighborhood of Annisquam. About a 15 minute drive to Rockport and downtown Gloucester. The local Cape Ann bus stops at the end of the street. Diamond Cove Beach is a neighborhood association beach about a 5 minute walk at the end of the street. There is a swimming raft. Lighthouse Beach, directly across the Annisquam River from Wingersheek, is about a 15 minute walk. It's a private sandy beach and with a very gentle slope. Great for kids.

Our family enjoyed staying at this house for 2 weeks in July09. What a wonderful surprise! The house has a marvelously equipped kitchen. The entire house appears recently renovated and is in tip-top shape. The wrap-around porch is a real treat - especially on rainy days. At night it's quiet and private, but still an easy drive during the day to Cape Ann locations. The owner was very responsive to all questions and it's clear this property is well cared for.

From the moment we arrived we were astounded by how beautiful the house and surrounding area is. Everything we needed was available. From linens and towels to cookware and outside/beach chairs, coolers, and kayak. The house is located on a very private road with access to Diamond Cove and nearby Lighthouse Beach. We have never experienced a vacation like this one. We all relaxed for hours on the beautiful porch(even the children ages 3, 10 & 15). Plenty of space to play on the sides of the house provided hours of entertainment including wiffleball and volleyball. Every inch of the house has been updated and is very pleasant. The kitchen is fully equipped. There really is no need to bring anything but your clothes and food. We went on a different adventure each day. Uncroweded beaches and places to fish or walk kept everyone satisfied. This is truly a hidden gem that we look forwars to returning to for years to come.

Nine of us shared this lovely secluded home , and found it well equipped, clean and comfortable. Though we had rain much of our stay, friendly livingroom , a bright kitchen for many card games and the wide covered porch provided extra space to spread out and grill. Nearby beaches and Annisquam Light house are lovely . The owner was prompt to reply and very helpful answering all of our questions. Lovely gem!
