Hot Tub while viewing the lights: Winter in Vegas can be cold but you can relax in the hot tub overlooking the city lights just outside the master bedroom; play pool in the family room while enjoying the fireplace, breakfast bar and pub table.
I moved to the desert 20 years ago from northeast Pennsylvania, Las Vegas Valley has so much to offer outside of the world famous Strip. Hundreds of hiking trails in state and national parks as well as wilderness area hikes in slot canyons. As a award winning realtor with over 30 years of experience, I watched the valley grow and became familiar with all areas. Personally, I prefer the city of Henderson which is also where I live with my husband and our 2 Golden Retrievers.
Deborah Dalley Phillips purchased this house in 2004
Owner occupied neighborhood with very little rental properties, easy freeway access and great views of the city lights!
Great home. Exactly as promised. Stayed 6 nights. Loved the pool, hot tub, kitchen, floor plan, Deborah was so great to deal with and really took care of everything. Very well-maintained, location is nice and close to everything (shopping, groceries, etc.). Was fun to be away from the nonstop buzz of the Strip and just relax when we wanted. Easy to drive in Vegas. We'll definitely be back !
We stayed 4 nights at this excellent and clean home in a nice and safe neighbourhood. Loved the pool table and ample space in living areas and the outside hot tub. very nice! the pool area is nice too, but wasn't usable due to cold november weather. beds were comfy and you'll find sleep in the suburbans of noisy Las Vegas. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you.
The description didn't promise too much, everything more than all right. The surrounding is very quiet, a high level location, exactly what we desired. Everything is well maintained, the service is great. In short words: can be highly recommended! If we'll have to stay in Vegas again, we'll consider this property in any case. Many thanks, Deborah!
We make an annual trek from WA to Vegas each year so our favorite baseball player (16-yr-old grandson) can play in the Desert Classic tournament. In past years we've stayed in hotels and struggled with the constant noise, cigarette smoke (seriously, hasn't Nevada been made aware of the dangers of 2nd-hand smoke?), cramped room, and general crazy atmosphere. This year we tried something new and what a difference! City Lights Villa became our oasis; a place to stretch out, relax and decompress at the end of each long day on the ball field. Quiet, roomy, clean, smoke-free, beautifully appointed and fully furnished with everything we might need, it was the perfect anecdote to the craziness of the strip. The kitchen was lovely (and we decided to install tile floors in our own kitchen after experiencing them at City Lights) and had everything we needed for cooking and enjoying our breakfasts on the lanai, the bedrooms were large with comfy beds, and the living room was complete with large-screen TV with a DVD player and tons of DVDs to enjoy. We had fun trying our hand at the pool table, playing the board games, using the bikes and watching the stars and valley lights while we basked in the hot tub at night. The only disappointment was the lack of a heater option for the pool. Since we were there in October, the water was too cold for swimming. Other than that though, we were totally happy and left wishing we'd discovered City Lights Villa years ago. Lovely, lovely home!
We trek to Vegas from WA annually so our favorite baseball player (our 16-yr-old grandson, Gio) can take part in the Desert Classic tournament. In past years, we've stayed in hotels and struggled with the noise, the cigarette smoke (seriously, in this day and age, to allow smoking indoors is insane!) and the crazy atmosphere. This year we tried something new, and are we ever glad that we did! City Lights Villa became our oasis; a place to decompress and stretch out at the end of each day. The house has everything we needed and more. The bed were comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, the washer and dryer worked great and we were well-entertained with the pool table, TVs, DVDs, hot tub, bikes and games. The only thing we would have wished for differently would be for the pool to have a heating option. We were there in October, so the water was too cold for swimming. Aside from that, all was perfection. Lovely, lovely home. We are hooked!
The owner was extremely friendly and helpful with our needs. The home was exactly as described, pet friendly and a very comfortable stay. It was a perfect spot for a mini family reunion and provided a variety of activities such as swimming, bbq, pool table, games and giant tv for relaxing in the evening. I would definitely go back again.
Relax in the hot tub while overlooking the lights of Las Vegas! We are a short drive from The Strip, Lake Mead is also approximately 15 minute drive, golf at the Black Mt Golf Club ; enjoy a refreshing drink at our Pub table overlooking the city after a wonderful day on The Strip or shopping; play pool in the family room or go to a local casino a short drive away . Lake Mead, The District, Hoover Dam and many local attractions nearby. This home is located in a safe, quiet residential neighborhood on a cul de sac with a very private yard area. Waterpark only 15 minute drive from house.
