Nice house, not well stocked

The house itself was in very good shape and was a great price though it was missing some basic equipment. There were no rubber bath mats provided for the bathtubs -- since we had my 81 year old mother with us, we went out and bought a mat to ensure she didn't injure herself. The kitchen was not well stocked -- it had dishes and pots/pans, but there were limited "extras" -- e.g., no pitchers (for iced tea), no measuring spoons or measuring cups. Need a waste basket in the basement near the washing machine to discard the lint from the dryer. Lighting in the living room/dining room is awful -- not good enough to read a book or do a jigsaw puzzle. Hard to work the TV/DVD player etc due to the myriad of remotes (5 or more?) and the inaccurate instructions for using them (it took us a bit to realize that some did not even have batteries!). Lastly -- the starter on the gas grill did not work.
Otherwise, the house is comfortable (especially the living room couches!) and well located -- just off of Rt. 6 and close to the Eastham bay beaches. It is relatively quiet, though not particularly private or set back -- it's pretty close to the neighboring houses.
My kids loved the extra apartment (they went there to watch TV) as well as the swing set in the back yard.
Owner's Response: Our hope and expectation is that our guests are comfortable and happy with their vacation home. We want to know what we can do to make it better. Feedback from our guests is the best way to do that and we appreciate it.
We will certainly add the missing items and reduce the number of remote controls for the HDTV & DVD. The gas grill is new and we did not expect any problems. We will either fix the starter or provide an alternative way to light the grill. We will do our best to improve our home in all the ways suggested.
