'Kate's Cottage' is newly remodeled year round waterfront home across the road from a private association beach and boasts spectacular setting and views. The house has 3 stories, the downstairs has a spacious living room with fireplace. The dining room opens out into the unique octagonal screened front porch where you can relax and listen to the waves and breathe in the ocean air. A den and half bath are downstairs.The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and the 3rd floor is a large open space with a bedroom and a breathtaking view.Perfect for families with children as the front yard is spacious and the sandy beach has gentle waves. 20 minutes from New Haven and less than 2 hours from NYC, there are cultural and family activities galore to be enjoyed in historic Guilford. From the Little Folks Fair to the Handcraft Exhibition on the Guilford Green, there is plenty to do and experience in this beautiful, friendly, New England town.
