Beautiful water view cottage located 100 feet from Narrow River. Quiet neighborhood, yet convenient to Narragansett beach, URI, and great day-trip destinations such as Newport and Block Island. Narrow River is a haven for snowy white egrets, blue heron, cormorants, ducks, geese, and many other species of marine wildlife. A canoe and a kayak are included with the house for you to explore the river, paddle up to the General Store at the bridge, or even go all the way to the mouth of the river, where you can swim to a sandbar, or walk across the dunes to the ocean beach. If you want to bring your own boat, there is a boat ramp just a few streets down from the house. The house is the third house from the river, and the street dead-ends at the river so there is no through traffic. The house was completely remodeled in the fall of 2005.

Come experience favorite Rhode Island events such as the Newport Jazz Festival, the Charlestown Sea Food Festival, the Blessing of the Fleet, and the Quahog Festival. Everything is exactly as described, property owner and caretaker very kind and helpful, easily accessed. Beautiful spot near the river, we went down to the ocean via the river with the kayaks and canoe several times. We were allowed to bring our chocolate lab, who loved the water and the neighborhood dogs! A lot of fun, modern conveniences, pretty place.

This is the perfect place for a family vacation. Beautiful home, easy access to the river and beach, friendly neighbors and great neighborbood for a bike ride.

The owners are very easy to work with. Can't wait to return!

This house is situated on a quiet street with wonderful views of the river. The home is very neat and decorated beautifully. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this rental. Wendy the owner was just great to work with.

Perfect place for a family get-away

This comfortable home is just the third house from a river inlet. The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming. The home has all the amenities necessary for a relaxing vacation. Beaches are just a three minute drive away, if you're in shape, you can take the kayak or canoe. The beaches are beautiful, safe, and clean. There is a great park just down the road with a playground, basketball court and a great climbing rock. Be sure to bring your own sheets and towels. Other than that, everything you will need is right at your fingertips. Check it out!!!
