Lavallette Vacation Rental house

We were very dissapointed. In our opinion, the house was not as it appeared to be on-line. Not a summer family get away by any means. Suffice to say we will not be renting that house ever again. For the rent we paid for this house, this is completely unacceptable. Had we looked at the house before hand i can tell you under no uncertain terms would we have rented it. The house is in major disrepair and shows major wear and tear. It is infested with ants, there are no locks and screens in the windows, no fixtures on any kitchen cabinets maing it difficult to open doors etc, the deck furniture is broken and unuseable, one of the bedrooms had a punjant odor of feases, the house is not furnished as it appears on-line, there is little (6 channels) to no recpetion on the TV's that were to all have been provided with cable. The ceilings are very low, the downstairs kitchen you have to go thru the bathroom to get to, the front door was very difficult to open and close for it was always stuck. So our kids had a tough time coming in and out, the bathrooms were filthy and repulsive and we had to shower in the outside shower not matter how cold it was outside, the house was to be cleaned professionally before we arrived, and it was not and thus we spent parts of the the 1st 2 days cleaning. And on a street of some nice homes this one sticks out as something less than that. And in our opinion is not worth the money.
