Hi, myself and 9 other women ( family and friends) stayed at this beautiful home for a weekend getaway. We found this cabin just beautiful and very clean. Everything was just as advertised and more. There was plenty of room, a lot of beds, couches and chairs to easily accommodate us. We had a great time and will recommend this place to others, as well as probably rent again in the future. We just returned from a very nice vacation in this home. It was exactly as presented-clean, well located and comfortable. There were 10 of us ranging from 12-70 and having plenty of room to spread out was important. When I hear the term rustic I always get nervous, but with this home rustic is good. The tree in the loft fascinated the kids and we all loved the knotty pine interior. We played games at the large table overlooking the golf course, cooked in the well appointed kitchen and relaxed on the porch overlooking the pond. Plenty of golf courses around for the golfers and close to all sorts of tourist activities-try tubing the AuSable River and you will find you have muscles you haven't used in years! I would give it 5 stars!

The Perfect Place to Scrap

Me and six friends rented the house for a weekend getaway of scrapbooking. The house was beautiful and very, very clean. The property was also nice and quiet. We had everything we needed for a great weekend getaway of scrapbooking and relaxation. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to getaway. This caretaker was very friendly and so is the owner. I can recommend the Ausauble Inn Restraunt in (Mio I believe) we stopped there on the way there and on the way home, very good food, everyone loved what they ordered. The pancakes are HUGE!! The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the horses across the road were no longer there, but we saw several birds, geese and rabbits during our stay. So as far as the Flushing Mom's, this place deserves a "10". Thanks for the Memories!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
