Edgefield is a classic Maine summer home with 5 bedrooms (including a master suite with fireplace and a unique sleeping porch for the kids), gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances, granite counters and fireplace; solarium for relaxing, TV room, laundry room, and numerous sitting rooms. The home is both comfortable and charming with hardwood floors, period details, and tasteful decor, art, and furnishings. Edgefield simply feels warm and inviting. It is a perfect setting for a large family reunion, wedding party, or group gathering or for one who simply wishes to relax in a gracious setting. Edgefield is within easy walking distance (0.6 miles) of downtown Camden and has ample parking and a large, grassy back yard. Pets are welcome.

You can kayak from the harbor on guided trips by various outfitters and take a day sail on multiple schooners operating locally. Camden Hills State Park, which overlooks town, offers plenty of hiking, biking and fantastic scenic view of the bay and islands. Megunitcook Lake is nearby as well as many other ponds, lakes and rivers. There is a public swimming area there and the water is warm and the views up to Maiden's Cliff are great too. Camden in general is a great home base for a vacation. The surrounding towns are alive with summer activity--fairs, festivals and the like. Rockland offers some great museums and galleries and an airport if necessary for your plans.
