Description of the Orleans vacation house rental
This custom built home is situated on Crystal Lake with 170 feet of private sandy beach. Excellent for swimming, fishing, (stocked with trout and bass), and boating. Watch the osprey hunt and if you are very lucky, a great blue heron may fish right off this beach! The view is spectacular from every room because the entire lakeside of the house is glass. Close to two wonderful beaches, Nauset Beach for those who enjoy the Atlantic Ocean and big waves and Skaket each for those who enjoy the calm waters of Cape Cod Bay. Just two miles away is Rock Harbor, known for it's world famous sunsets and deep sea fishing fleet. Or take a tour of the Town Cove with Captain David Bessom. There are Pirate ships for the children, mini golf, live theater, Cape Cod League Baseball, Whale Watches and shopping! Or, as many of our renters have done, stay home and enjoy the cool breezes and clean water of Crystal Lake. The yard has several perennial gardens and a bamboo hedge for privacy.

Nickerson State Park is ten minutes away for hiking, boating, fishing, swimming and cycling. Attend a free Cape Cod League baseball game 1/2 mile away. Provincetown is 40 minutes away and great for d days worth of fun and shopping. Orleans has something for everybody -craft and antique shows, live theater, fresh fish markets, gourmet food to take out, summer concerts on Nauset Beach and ice cream shops galore!

While we do have a woodstove, we ask that it not be used during the summer. The front loading washer and drier are located in the Master bath. We do provide linens for the master bedroom because the mattress is deep and requires sheets with deep pockets.
