Very pleasant stay

We stayed 4 nights in early June. The house was really clean and very convenient for us. Everything worked fine and we enjoyed the hot tub as well as the access to the beach just across the street. The area is really nice and quiet with beautiful small roads.

Perfect place for a perfect weekend

Our group stayed here last week and we can't wait to come back. We loved being on the lake and being close to so many different activities in the area.

The house was great. We made great use of the deck, porch, grill and fire pit and retreated to the spacious living room when we went in for the night.

The owner was also great about answering questions and providing us with information about the area.

Outstanding Rental Property

A groups of friends and I recently rented this house for the Mooseman triathlon weekend and what a fantastic experience! The house was beautiful, the bed were comfortable and there was great water pressure in the shower, all important things to triathletes.

It was really a pleasure to be so close to Newfound Lake and all the activities in the surrounding area. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed grilling outdoors while watching the sunset.

The property was very well kept and spotless upon our arrival with evreything in perfect working order. We are definitely looking forward to trying to get back up to Newfound lake for another vacation and would really enjoy staying here again.

Thanks so much!

Awesome Rental Property

This property is one of my favorites, and we try to return each year for a week's stay in the Summer. The owner, is a great guy as well. The property is kept immaculate inside and out and being just one level (except for laundry in the basement) made it perfect for my 86 year old Mom who stayed with us. Having the front deck and screened in porch expand the living space and offer great places for sipping morning coffee, or just spending time with the family. And to soak in the hot tub after a long, adventurous day "ain't" bad either :>) The property is set back from the road to offer privacy as well.
The association beach is just down the driveway and across the dead end dirt road - complete with a dock and floating raft too! Although the beach is great, be prepared to feel like a sack of lead when you're walking back up to the house after a day of fun in the sun :>) During our last stay, I married my longtime love (of 21 years!), Paul, while we were there. We held the wedding in a very low-key way as "A Day at the Lake" over at Wellington State Park on 7/26/09 - the place is a must visit! It was a beautiful day, and we had a very fun week.

Perfect Family Getaway

The house is perfect, we have young adult children and they loved the property. The setting is peaceful, and tranquil. The pictures cannot display the complete enviorment!! It is amazing!!
There is a large deck outside with a grill and table and chairs in which you can watch the sunrise or set, as well as an ample screened porch..with a picnic table and enough room for the family!!!... There is a firepit for roasting marshmellows, and hot tub for gazing at the beautiful stars. There is also a basement with washer and dryer. All this along with the lake right across the street made this a vacation dream.
Thanks to our hosts!!! Kat

There is a camper from the sixties, which the boys took turns staying in for the nostalgia of it all, and then complemented the comfort of their little space!! (Great if you have little ones who want to go camping!!!)

The Lake is pristine, the boys enjoyed kayaking and swimming.....Fishing, is best from a boat. Definitely visit the "Big Catch" while you are here, a great casual dining experience, with amazing seafood, and ice cream!!!
Our hosts are wonderful people and we tahnk them for allowing us to stay at their home.....
