If you want to get away from it all, then come to Kapoho View! This tropical country home is surrounded by the real Hawaii that you’ve always imagined. There’s lush tropical foliage and tall palms that surround you with true Paradise. Most vacation homes are in subdivisions, but Kapoho View is just off the main road to Kapoho, and is very private. This is a true Hawaii country home.
And, did we mention THE VIEW! Just a few miles below you is the Big Blue Pacific Ocean. You’ll not only enjoy this expansive view, but you’ll be refreshed by the trade winds coming off the ocean, our 'natural' air conditioning. You’re only four miles from some of the best snorkeling in the state, the Waiopae tide pools, and about five miles from the warm pond, Ahalanui Warm Ponds. Here, you can swim and relax in 90 degree ocean water all year long. This is Paradise! Our local town of Pahoa is only minutes up the road. Here, you’ll experience the Old Hawaii of the late 1800’s, with boardwalks, shops and a great choice of restaurants.
This spacious home has three bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with two twin beds, and a loft bedroom with a queen. Kapoho View will sleep up to 6.

We enjoyed this place. Wonderful location and the house is fantastic. Very peaceful!! Thanks for the owners and Hawaiian Paradise Vacation Rentals. Hope to return sometime soon. God Bless.
(from our guest book)
We immediately fell in love with the arrival in the house. It has a lot of charm and is very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is huge. The covered porch is a dream, just like the view. On listening to the birdsong morning, just wonderful. The whole booking process was very friendly and very well documented.
Will be back soon!
We hope we can come again. Much obliged.
Had a fabulous time. The house was plenty big. Enough room for people to get way from each other if needed. Spent hours on the lanai with the beautiful ocean view and forest. Loved the gekos and other little creatures. Would definitely stay there again. Would give the Black Rock Cafe in Pahoa a try for breakfast- fantastic!
This is our third visit to Kapolo View, and we;ve truly enjoyed each time. The house location is ideal, with tremendous scenary and views, and the house more than fits our needs. The furnishings are comfortable, the rooms are an excellent size, and the home being non air conditioned has plenty of windows that allow for excellent air flows, cooling the house off very quickly in the evening. The supplies with the house are very adequate, including the kitchen and bedrooms.
We've been to the Big Island several times in the last few years, and after renting at Kapoho View and other homes, we would always want to rent a home rather than stay at a hotel. Kapoho View fits our vacation plans very nicely. Ron and Mark and Jeana have been very helpful and a delight to deal with.
My sister and I spent 7 nights at this house. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai with the view of the ocean and watching the mongoose and geckos. We found this house to be very comfortable, although a bit "rustic" as it was described to us by Mark when we made the reservation. This is a very quiet, peaceful setting with easy access to Pahoa Town and Hilo. We would definitely stay at Kapoho View again should we be in Hawaii.
We stayed at Kapoho View the 1st week of March 2011.We found the ad and pictures of Kapoho View to be accurate and everything we expected. The home is spacious and comfortable complete with a wrap around covered deck which we used for morning coffee, enjoying the view and the lush surroundings. The beds were very comfortable. (we used the main bedroom and loft) We made good use of the binders listing information about the local sights and how to access hidden treasures such as the hike to Shipman Beach. We found the location of the house to be great as it is close to the interesting lava potholes for snorkelling, the hot water pool and the very scenic drive to Kalapana where we walked through the glowing lava flows. We were lucky to be there for the latest eruption. Nearby Pahoa is a lively little town with good restaurants and live music. The Volcano National Park was a highlight for us. We would recommend the hike into Kilauea Iki crater. In Hilo had 3 excellent Thai meals at the Full Moon Cafe. (its worth the 45 minute drive over to Hilo) All in all staying at Kapoho View we feel we experienced life in real Hawaii.
