This lovely oceanside beach cottage is just a 1 minute walk to the best beach on earth. Comfortable for up to 10-12 people, this two-story home has it all. Perfect for two families vacationing together, as upstairs and downstairs are separate enough to provide maximum privacy and space. Relax in classic Cape Cod style; sit on our sunny porch with a good book, or hang out on the sun deck overlooking beach pines, sand dunes, and the water in the distance. This home is on a rural road with just a few quaint little beach homes. Walk down to the beach dune, head down to the beach with your surfboard, or get ready for a sunset clambake/bonfire. Or hit the bike trail, take a run along Ocean View drive, or plan for a fun evening at the Beachcomber just 1.5 miles away. Just completed renovation, including new kitchen appliances, fresh paint inside and out, new outdoor shower and patio. Enjoy horseshoes, volleyball, badminton, and foosball too!

Wellfleet is a beautiful oceanside community on outer Cape Cod. The town features a variety of little shops, great restaurants, and wonderful seafood. There's something for everyone, including mini-golf, drive-in theater, performing arts center, yoga, and more. And, in a 20 minute ride, you can be in Provincetown, another great old fishing community on the tip of the cape with spectacular beaches, shopping, restaurants, fishing expeditions, whale watching (and people watching too)!

Our Stay in Wellfleet Oceanside

We were a large family group ranging from age 66 to 4 years! This house rental accommodated us very well with 2 living rooms, 2 refrigerators, 2 1/2 bathrooms, 2 TVs, 5 bedrooms, and a well stocked kitchen. The private location was ideal. We had a short walk over the dune to a beautiful beach. We were a short drive to Wellfleet's 3 crystal clear ponds (wonderful swimming), to The Beachcomber (restaurant and night club), and to a small complex which included a general store, post office, liquor store, ice cream place, bike rentals, beach equipment, bakery, and the bike trail. No need to venture out onto Cape Cod's major highway!
Minor drawbacks to this rental: to enjoy Wellfleet's Ponds and other beaches, one needs a beach parking sticker issued by the Town of Wellfleet.
