My beach house is on an ocean embayment called Follins Pond. Salt water, tidal, fishing, boating and swimming all off the private soft sandy beach in the back yard. Follins Pond goes out to Nantucket Sound via Bass River. It is NOT open crashing ocean...that would be Nantucket Sound. The street is a little dead-end with year round homes. NOT a cottage community. l am the only person that rents. So, please don't tick off my neighbors...as they are lovely people. There are 8 houses on the street. 4 on the view side and 4 on the ocean side. My house is the last house on the ocean side abutting conservation land. Because of it's location there is a lot of wildlife. Swans in the back yard and bunnies in the front yard. Beautiful birds, as my neighbor provides gourmet buffet that attracts unusual song birds. Beautiful to see and to hear. There is a peacefulness that makes the world and it's problems seem a long way away .
I provide 2 kayaks that are made to NOT tip over and the life jackets. Also, the sand chairs. float tubes. pails trash bags, all the cleaning stuff, laundry detergent, fabric softener, toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex. Beds all have pillows and pillow protectors, mattress pads, blankets, comforters and extra pillows. Basically, if you bring yourself and your loved ones...even pets are welcome...with a few exceptions, and clothes....you'll be set. There are all kinds of stores and golf courses, 12 movie cinema, discount shopping, banks, medical , food and restaurants in less than 10 minutes, by car , from the house. If you want HUGE public, meet and greet beaches. There is Corporation, Chappen , Seagull , Mayflower...all beautiful beaches within 10 mins by car. Beautiful endless walking, swimming beaches. You DO need a sticker, or you can pay to park when you get there. There is as much to do or as little to do...it's up to your desires for the day. P-Town is about 40 mins away
and whale watching is available there and also in closer Barnstable Village...about 15 mins. down Rt. 6A. It's all beautiful, it's all fun and it's easy to get to. If your lucky enough to be on the Cape for the July 4th celebrations and you don't want to get caught in the traffic, you can watch the fireworks right off my deck. The town puts off the fireworks right across from the house. Very convenient. Nice to be able to be grilling and chilling while you are being entertained in the safety of the beach house. There are so many amenities that I could go on...but if you are interested, it's easier to just email me or call. Looking forward to hearing from you, Gael
