We have loved our stay here! The place is clean, well kept, simply but creatively decorated giving it a homey feel, and the yard is really nice! I just regret not having been here in the warmer months to enjoy the flowers and the hammock and bbq. As to the sleeping arrangements all of the beds are quite comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. In the loft there was 3 twin beds and a double. Scattered throughout the home are games, books, puzzles, etc. and the lighting upstairs is perfect for sitting in a bed, gazing out the window on occasion with a good book(i actually read 2 of my own during our stay, lol). As our stay was mainly work related the internet was a must and it worked supurb! All the appliances worked great including the washer/dryer. As for the beach I went on a walk while I was there and yes, it is quite small but my whole family of 14 would have been easily accommodated and there was even a small boat ramp! It is in a nice community and we were never bothered by neighbors. Old Saybrook is a neat little town that is a good break from the rush of the city but has a stop and shop, gas stations, several privately owned restraunts, and an outlet mall a few minutes away. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again if given the opportunity. :)
