Located at Bryce Mountain Resort in Basye Virginia this lovely and comfortable cabin will afford you a true vacation. Get away from the stress and noise of everyday life and 'kickback' in this beautiful mountain setting. Forget all your worries as you relax in the 5 person outdoor hot tub set in the woods. Laze away your day on the upper or lower deck relaxing, reading, or napping. Enjoy your meals in the fresh air on either deck. The kitchen has all your need to prepare meals, plus an outdoor gas grill. If dining out is more your style, there are several restaurants in the area that offer excellent cuisine.

If you are more of an on the go person, the location is great for visiting the sites of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, and even near by(within 2 hour drive), Washington, DC. The resort itself is a four seasons facility offering skiing in winter, golf, swimming, boating, tennis, hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities during the other seasons.

The accommodations at Hamer's Lift were more than I expected. The house was very spacious. There was plenty of room for my group to be comfortable. The biggest surprise to me was how inexpensive it was!

Relaxing

Great place to stay. Exactly what they said it was. We visit this area every year. We travel from North Carolina & our friends and family from New Jersey. Hammers lift was like being at home. Everything was readily available from towels, extra linens, & kitchen needs. Two large decks for enjoying the peace & quiet. We had a few cool nights but the fire place kept us nice & cozy. The owners have great customer service, prompt with returning emails and questions. We will definatly love to stay here again.

Our Family Gettogether

Hamer's Lift is an absolute wonderful home for sharing family memories! Hamer's home is a central meeting place for our very spread out family. Thank goodness they include our wonderful family dogs our getaway. Chuck has the greatest communication and hospitality!!! We look forward to another great weekend or maybe even week long stay next time. This was our second visit =) Thanks again! HIGHLY Recommend!!!!

Winter Get A Away

We really enjoyed our stay at "Hamer's Lift." It was extra cozy just like being at our home. Everything that we needed was there with plenty of extras. There was plenty of entertainment for the entire family. The location was within 3-4 minutes of the resort. We are looking forward to staying there again.

Great Place- everything was easy

Great weekend.
I have rented a cabin for this weekend for the past four year, and this cabin offered all of the amenities and comforts I have come to expect, at nearly a third of the price.
The cabin was charming and spacious, the hot tub was wonderful, and the owner was honest and enthusiastic and generous with his time in answering all questions before/during the weekend.
We spend a day on the slopes, less than 10 minutes door-to-door from the cabin, where we enjoyed $25 lift tickets and the best artificial snow any of us had ever seen.
I plan on booking this weekend again for next year as soon as possible.
Couldn't have been better and I would be happy to give a reference for anyone who is on the fence.
