Quoddy Head State Park is located in Lubec, Maine, the eastern most point of land in the United States. Encompassing 532 acres, Quoddy Head State Park is home to the eastern most lighthouse in the United States, the West Quoddy Lighthouse, built in 1858. Located in the park, are numerous trails, extensive forests, and two bogs. Home to various plants and animals, it's a great place to watch seabirds and sea mammals. An extremely relaxing place to walk, the West Quoddy Head, is adjacent to the Quoddy Narrows, a narrow straight of water separating Canada and the United States.
