Location and Attractions:
Our home is conveniently located for all seasons. Skirmish, whitewater rafting, biking is only 12 miles away. Hiking through Hickory Run State Forest, must see Boulder Field is only 8 miles. Skiing at Big Boulder is 2 miles, Jack Frost is 8 miles they are sister mountains so you can ski or tube at Jack Frost in the morning then go Big Boulder after dinner or a nap. MoheganSun at Pocono Downs is 20 miles. Pocono Raceway is less than 2 miles. Shopping at outlets is 15 miles as well as Camelback ski or Camelback water park. Jim Thorpe is only 18 miles. Our community has a fishing pier, life guarded beaches only 4 houses away... 'Walk' to lake, play ground, basketball and volleyball. State game lands are within 1 mile. Home backs up to private game lands. Wildlife galore. There is use of a 3 person Row Boat for the lake. New Mount Airy Lodge and Casino is 20 miles away.. Split Rock is a 10 minutes with movie theater, bowling and New Indoor Water Park open to public.
Home:
Our home has been painstaking renovated. Constantly changing and updating. All bathrooms have ceramic tile floors. The Family Room and Living Room and Dining Room have Pergo Floors with Large Area Rugs. Our home is tastefully decorated with comfy furnishings. There are 4 TVs, 2 DVDs and 2 VCRs with many Movies to choose from. There is a piano in the Living Room and 50' Plasma TV. Our Family Room has seating for 8 with a Large Bar Area with a Mini Fridge, Sink and Gas Log Fireplace. There is a separate Play Room / Mud Room down stairs. Washing Machine, Dryer, Over The Range Microwave and Dishwasher are among the conveniences. Our oven has 3 shelves for the baker in the family. There are two Decks, the front deck is covered for protection from the weather in winter and summer with 4 rocking chairs.. The rear deck is outside the kitchen with Picnic Table, Deck Furniture and Gas Grill. Winter has views of lake and mountains with the lights of Big Boulder Ski Area off in the distance
Row Boat:
Our home comes with use of a 3 person Sail boat/ Row Boat. Sail boat may only be used at our community lake. It is so much fun for the older children to go out and learn how to sail. It is a small 6 foot boat. You can also use the boat to row on the lake if you don't know how to sail. Sail, Row and Fish on our beautiful lake. Must wear Life Jackets supplied along with fishing poles. Over 16 need a fishing license. Stocked Lake for Trout.
