You will stay in a 2 bedroom condo recently renovated, quietly on a 50-acre, 18-hole golfing community in the heart of Orlando. It is near enough to the airport to make your initial arrival 'home' short, but convenient enough to 2 major highways to get you to downtown Orlando and the attractions in a short period of time. You can enjoy the 3 pools, tennis, shuffleboard, boccie, basketball, and a huge playground. When its time to eat either use the full kitchen to prepare a full meal or take a short stride in the gated community to the luxurious clubhouse and enjoy full breakfast buffets or dinners. The 19th Hole Restaurant serves meals all day and sits on the golf course. The master bedroom is spacious enough for the family to hang out in and the 2nd bedroom is nice enough to accommodate the kids or the rest of the gang. High-speed cable powered Internet. It is well away from the normal tourist havens with neighbors mainly being those that live and work in the Orlando area, typical commuter land. So if you have done Disney and want to mix with the locals, this is the place for you. It is quiet and is secured with a 24-hour security company, with a guard at the entry gate. Cape Canaveral, Daytona, St. Augustine, Jacksonville and the beaches of Cocoa, New Smyrna and Daytona are not far away. Disney and the other Theme Parks if you do want to visit them are only 30 minutes away on the 528 toll road or I-4. Miami can be reached inside a leisurely four hours and the Keys inside eight hours.

Enjoy daily and evening activities put together by the country club for seniors and kids, such as bowling day and swimming days. Bike paths within the community allow for biking, skating, or just leisurely walking.

Golf: Golf is year round. After all this is Florida.

Worth the money

We found the property as listed above, with lights on and music playing. The Condo is as shown in the pictures.
The outside of the building looks dated however the enterior has been painted and tastfully decorated.
My wife and I lived in East Orlando for several years and were very leary of staying near 436 however the country club is a great oasis. The two entrances to club propety are security controled and we noticed an OPD police patrol each night of our stay. We took a small dog and found the property to be very friendly to her. The back door opened to a canal which was great for her walks. The propery was mosly quiet, the only noise came from a family visiting one night with several small children.
Our only concern was noticable dust on the HVAC vent in the hallway and the internet connection did not work.

Very Accomodating

Our visit was not for a vacation, but for a medical issue at Florida Hospital. The owner was most accomodating in every way, giving us the May special price, free newspaper each morning, and the assurance that if we needed to rent the condo for a few more days, he would definitely work with us. It helped take the worry away about the accomodations so we could concentrate more on the hospital visits. Condo is close enough to everything - attractions, downtown, airports and hospital - we can't comment on pools, clubhouse, etc as we were not there for vacation. It was perfect to have two bedrooms for other family members who were visiting, and the well furnished kitchen and linen closet was definitely an asset. It was like a home away from home - much better than trying to stay at a motel and eating every meal out. Our many thanks to the owner.

As a family of 4 we enjoyed our overall experience. The condo was exactly as the pictures depicted and we felt very safe inside the gated community. The Disney attractions were easy to get to (25 minutes) and my favorite was the drive to the airport in about 10 minutes at 5 in the morning....very convenient. We enjoyed our stay so much that we're considering purchasing within that same community! Dealing with the owner was easy and he was more than willing to answer any questions and responded to our calls promptly. Condo was very clean and had a wonderful smell upon first entrance. My only pitfall was the internet which didn't work in the condo but I used my laptop at the pool just fine. We didn't go to the nearby restaurant but all the others like Chilis and Fridays were within a 7 minute drive, very convenient.

My family and I stayed at this property for 4 nights. When we arrived, the place was spotless. The radio was on softly and the air was already cooled down and we felt very welcomed. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed staying there. The owner was very easy to deal with and very nice.

Conveniently located affordable condo

We were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. You are out of the hustle/bustle of big city Orlando yet close enough to all the theme parks and other surrounding attractions. The condo was very quiet, The 19th Hole Restaurant served a tasty lunch.
Within 50 miles, we went to Winter Park to the Morse Museum, Fantansy of Flight (airplane museum) in Polk City, Cape Kennedy to view shuttle landing, Downtown Disney for dinner and other small trips. We enjoyed every one of the above. We would recommend this to our friends.
