This lake front home is a great place for a family vacation. Swim, fish and boat from our private beach. There's a swim raft and a dock to tie up your boat. A canoe, rowboat, life jackets and water toys are available for all to use. Motorboat and jet ski rentals are available at the marina across the street. Canoe up the river to the back lake or take a motorboat ride to Ossipee Lake. Sun yourself on the beach or the deck overlooking the lake. There's a large dinner table and sitting area on the extra large screened in porch. Older kids can sleep or play in the loft over the bedrooms or on the sleep sofa in the basement. There's cable TV, DVD, video and a wireless Internet connection. Sit by a campfire at night and toast marshmallows. Follow the scenic back roads to North Conway for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. And you're not far from the White Mountains where you can hike to waterfalls, climb a mountain or visit Storyland and other popular attractions

Great setting on Danford Pond/Ossipee

The cottage and setting were very nice with detailed instructions on the workings of the house. The house was clean with a very pleasant setting overlooking Danford Pond. The family loved swimming and canoeing. The view from the large screened porch was great. I was very soothing viewing the pond at different times during the day from seeing morning fog and mirror flat to dark blue during a sunny afternoon( I am meteorologist so I love observing the weather.) I was also very nice hearing the loons in the evening and early morning. The house is fairly well shade with a sunny beach area. All the applicances and internet connection worked great in the house

The listing description was accurate with no suprises. There was excellent customer service with no confusion. I would definitely recommend the cottage. It is in a great location if you want to hike and vist the southern White Mountains region or go over to the Maine coast for a day trip.

Really great stay!!

We stayed for the week and spent a lot of time relaxing in the warm water. We thought our 2 kids would never come out of it. The house is welcoming and comfortable with a huge screened in porch that was so great at night and everything you will need for a great stay. With all the sand by the water, it was like we were sitting on the beach. Lots of sun from noon til the sun goes down. The area is private and quiet.

Perfect summer vacation home. The view from the porch was breath taking and we couldn't get enough of it (night or day). My family from ages 2 - 50 (including my 16 y/o) enjoyed everything from the water activities to the actual family game night in the basement (while the little ones slept). We would all like to make this our annual summer vacation spot.

My husband and I were fortunate enough to have spent a long weekend at this wonderful home. I have rented many homes over the years but this one sticks out for many reasons. #1 cleaniness, it really is immaculate, #2 great private beach with a floating dock, #3 the best screened porch overlooking the lake I have ever enjoyed, It is a great place for a family vacation, the kids would love the beach. There is a camp ground across the pond, listening to and watching the kids was to me enjoyable The firepit on the beach is just perfect for relaxing next to in the evenings. I would return in a heart beat and I strongly encourage anyone who is thinking of renting in the white mountains area to check out this house. Wish we didn't have to leave. You will not be disappointed.

Enjoy summer fun at waterfront vacation house

We had been looking for a place ON the water instead of near the water and we've been coming here for 3 years since we found this house. Great location on a quiet lake. This house has a great view and is right on the water. Nice private beach and dock for swimming, fishing and boating. My wife enjoyed having morning coffee and reading on the screen porch overlooking the water. The kids enjoyed kayaking, swimming, fishing, and cooking marshmallows on the beach at night. The house has the amenities like TV, cable, DVD, internet, microwave, gas grill, and was comfortable for the week.
