This great Gulf Shores rental features a million-dollar view of the Gulf of Mexico. This two-bedroom, 2-bath Southern Sands vacation rental is only 1/4 mile from Highway 59, and is within walking distance of all the activities in Gulf Shores. This condo has a super low density with only 18 units. It's nicely decorated and has been recently updated, including a fully-equipped kitchen with all the modern appliances. There is a large living area with cable TV, a VCR, and a DVD player. Each floor has a free, heavy-duty washer and dryer. Relaxing is easy in the master bedroom with its private balcony overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and pool along with a Jacuzzi® tub in the bathroom.

Condo was exactly as described. It had everything we needed, even more than was mentioned in the ad. Has 3 floors so beach and pool was not crowded at all! Beach front as described with unobstructed views. This was a room at the front and had better views than some of other condos at this building. There were 6 condos with the same view as ours. We ate at Bubba's Seafood House toward Orange Beach and Desoto's, go right from the condo and it's immediately on the left. Lovely stay!!!! 9-28-07

Great condo with breath taking ocean views

Condo was all it was advertised to be and more. It had everything we needed. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The balcony was huge and directly facing the ocean with a wonderful view. The furniture on the balcony was very nice, extremely comfortable and unexpected. There were 2 couples so we loved that the beds in both bedrooms were queen size (very comfortable also). The condo was very easy to find and close enough to walk to many restaurants and stores. The condo was great and very comfortable and we will definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for making our stay wonderful.
Owner's Response: We love a great review. Southern Sands is in a great location convenient to restaurants, souvenier shops, etc. We personally think we have the best veiw on the beach, you can see down to the right or left for miles and see the waves rolling in on the beach while you relax on a very spacious balcony. We love return renters and would love to have you back again next year. Thanks!

Great Ocean View

Visited May 2009 with 4 adults. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. 3 Flatscreen tv's were an unexpected but pleasant surprise. Kitchen was fully furnished which we appreciated as we cooked each morning. Thank you for the extra bed linens and pillows. Just some minor issues: There was no phone; had to call the manager to obtain username and password to obtain Internet access; No dvd/vcr; Beds were all queen size; patio door on front bedroom facing ocean would not open; recommend an ironing board with iron. Overall the condo was great with its ocean view and balcony, and very comfortable.

Beach View

2 couples rented this unit. Enjoyed our stay even though the weather could've been better. Cloudy 3 days and rained all day one of the days but we drove around exploring the area. Older building, but this unit was freshly painted and had all new tile and carpet. Elevator is a little slow but sure beat climbing stairs. Found some really nice golf courses in the area. The pool wasn't heated and the water was too cold to go in. It was also way to cold to go in the ocean. The beach is beautiful and the view from the balcony is great. I always look for ocean front when I'm booking a condo because the view is important to me. Really liked not having to worry about keys with the keyless entry system. Great idea! We would consider staying here again. Good location.

We liked to think we have the best in Gulf Shores, especially if you like that on the beach feeling, which we do. Sorry about the cold snap we had that week, I guess Mother Nature wanted to have one last breath of Winter. That was very unseasonly for us. Average temperature that time ofthe year is 82. Thanks so much and you all are invited back anytime

Gulf Shores Condo

This beach front condominium was all it was advertised and more. The view from the deck was breathtaking all hours of the day/night. The condo was clean and very comfortable. The complex was easily accessed and had both stairs and an elevator. Luggage carts were available for use in getting baggage from the car to the condo, and back. The area was quiet. Multiple restaurants were within walking distance. All this made for a pleasurable vacation experience.

There is so much to do that is in walking of the condo including great places to eat. There are 3 great beach front seafood eating places. The Hangout is our favorite. Great crab claws and nice view of the Gulf of Mexico. The Pink Pony is a classic eating place right on the beach. Come on down to the beach and enjoy this wonderful beach front condo!
